Pasha is a gem. A cozy spot nestled away off of Walnut Street in Shady Side. The entire experience here was a delight. The atmosphere is welcoming and homey. The staff are great people - really kind and warm. And the authentic Turkish food is divine. It's fresh, clean and flavorful. I can't wait to visit here again.
AMAZING experience. Delicious food, impeccable service, warm and inviting ambiance - this place has it all. I can’t wait to tell everyone to come here and I can’t wait come back myself!
My wife and I had never had the pleasure of eating Turkish cuisine. Pasha was amazing. We started with the "cigarette rolls" they were incredible. I had the lamb dish that gave you a little of everything. My wife had the chicken kabob. Both came with rice and a tomato cucumber salad. The flavors were wonderful. The ambiance was also great, beautiful decor and lighting. We will definitely be adding this into our rotation.
As a turkish person i can say that the food was amazing. I tried Adana and it was delicious. Baklava was also nice! I would suggest you to try turkish food here. Workers were nice people too.
I love Mediterranean food, and this is a great spot to get some! Pasha Cafe has a nice interior and a great menu as well. The only main downside I hav experienced from their food was the price. Still, I tried the rice pudding, haydari (Turkish yogurt), and pita. All of it was delicious.
I have tried numerous Haydari yogurts across Pittsburgh, and what sets this one apart is the little red sparkling on top (not quite sure what it is exactly, though). They had a great balance of walnuts to creamy and delicious yogurt. It is great to dip with the pita, and the portion is pretty good (although price is definitely on the high side).
The pita was decently high quality. It was charred and pretty soft on the inside. Not 100% sure whether or not it is homemade, but good quality nonetheless. I got the pita for free with my order of the haydari.
Finally, I ended off the meal with the rice pudding. It was unique in that there was a casing on top. Not sure I'm a fan of this topping, but not bad either. The inside is delicious, with creamy rice and the perfect amount of sweetness. I would recommend.
All in all, this is a great spot for Mediterranean food. Although the food is a bit expensive, I still believe it is worth it for the high quality items. Everything I tried (especially the rice pudding and haydari, and to a lesser extent the pita) was delicious.
Good food at reasonable prices. I got the spicy chicken dish and liked the sides it came with. the appetizers were smaller than I anticipated, but still good
Lovely Mediterranean (Turkish) restaurant. Very pleasant atmosphere. The lamb was tasty, although I will ask to have it prepared towards the rarer side next time. Great baklava, which goes great with Turkish coffee.
I'm a notoriously picky eater and every single dish here was my favorite. Vegetarian lentil soup was extremely flavorful. Yummy yogurt to dip everything in. I could eat that potato salad all day and night.
The place has a very nice vibe. The food is great but nothing special to differentiate it from other Turkish restaurants. May only the scarcity of Turkish restaurants in Pittsburgh. The kunafa was so good. Service was amazing and the people were always smiling. Food came with no delays. Would recommend to anyone interested in Turkish cuisine.
Food is tasty and very fresh. The servers are friendly. Atmosphere is divine. We sat on the patio, and the music was light and just right for dining. It was such a refreshing dining experience and reasonably priced for the appetizers and main course. I will definitely be referring friends to this restaurant.
