Cozy spot for robust Thai flavors and hearty portions. It gets busy around 7pm so come a little early! They do have outdoor seating too. The food is phenomenal and you'll probably have leftovers!

chicken satay is the best. the food and the service were great however the table was a bit sticky. i don't kniw why because the waitress has just cleaned the table, probably from the old paint.

Got takeout from Thai cottage and really enjoyed it! We ordered cottage veggie appetizer which came with crispy spring rolls, samosas and fried tofu, pad Thai, kee mao, and the mango sticky rice. All of it was delicious and I would order from them again!

A great local Thai spot. Food is consistently good, although on occasion the portions can be small when ordering takeout. Good service and cute little aesthetic.

Thai cottage has amazing food. I always get either the Thai iced tea or Thai iced coffee. All of their curry’s are amazing, I tend to get just the veggie Thai fried rice and I get a level 5 spice; it is to me a level 7 at least. I’d say for the average non spicy food eater get a 3-4. The outdoor seating is beautiful and surrounded by wildflowers. The inside is eclectic and beautiful. One meal I got here lasted me 3 dinners after. The portions are amazing. That is really something I look for in a meal…is how many more meals can this meal be. Well I’ll tell you! Your meal here can span to 4 days. The bathrooms are surprisingly really stylish. I don’t often comment on the state of the bathrooms at restaurants, it had a really cool feel. The restaurant looks eclectic and Sophisticated at the same time. I have never been a fan of eggplant, but one time my friend ordered their dish with that and the way they cook it makes me want to eat more eggplant…but only from here. The quality of the cooking and food here is superior to other Thai restaurants to me, Including Nikki’s.

It is a lovely cozy restaurant with great food. I loved the mango yellow curry that I ordered. The food portion is sufficient for one person. The reason for giving four stars is because we felt like we were being hurried. I understand it's a small place and it gets difficult for them to manage the crowd especially during weekends. But my husband and I went there to celebrate a special occasion and both of us were a little bothered by this.

Excellent food, nice portions and priced right. We ordered take out and was ready when we arrived. Both the Massaman Curry and the Mango Curry were so delicious! Spring rolls and fresh rolls were good too. This was our second time getting food here and won't be our last.

Thai Cottage has been delicious every time I’ve eaten there. The pineapple fried rice is outstanding and the Tom Kha noodle is the best I’ve ever had. There isn’t a lot of seating inside but I’ve never had trouble getting a seat during lunch time on a weekend. The decor is very cute and the staff is kind. Definitely recommended!

Very good Thai food and definitely some of the best in the area! Today's order was pretty simple: just pad Thai and Thai custard with sticky rice. The food was very reasonably priced at just $18 for the two items. I loved my pad Thai. It came in a pretty decent portion with an excellent price. It was a bit sweet, which is the way I like it. There's also a hint of lemon flavor. The protein I selected was chicken, and you don't have to pay extra for it. There's plenty of meat in here, but not too much. The meat was fine flavor wise, but not amazing. A little chewy. The noodles were great, though. It wasn't too oily or too dry like in most other Thai places. It was just the right amount of sauce and moisture, and the perfect sweet/salty balance. The sprouts added a bit of crunch, and your could taste the little pieces of egg. Highly recommend, 4.5/5. The Thai custard was also quite good. The portion was fair and the coconut milk was flavorful, with some black seeds as a topping. The custard itself was a bit on the eggy side, though. The rice was sticky enough and had good flavor. 3.8/5 All in all, I'd definitely come back here. The food is reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. For a low spiced pad Thai, this was excellent, and the sticky rice is fairly good too.

I think I've found my new favorite Thai place in Pittsburgh! The food was fantastic--super flavorful and fresh! Unlike some Thai restaurants I've been to, I could taste that the chicken was cooked in the sauce without my dish and not just added at the end, and it makes all the difference. The staff was very friendly and we loved the cozy atmosphere with lots of house plants. Will definitely be back!
