First time visiting, the good: food is delicious. The Gobi Manchuria was so damn good, it is so flavourful and I fell in love with one bite, it is also spicy too, but it was a good spiciness, it didn't hurt my stomach like some of other spicy things. But yes it was spicy. Also the Hyderabadi biryani was great! We also ordered the special tea and it was so different, so flavourful and if you like tea, you should try it. Ok, so the part we thought could be improved: first I hate menus that you have to scan with your phone. Second, the girl who served us didn't seem to know the menu very well, we tried to order some chicken dishes under the "chicken" category, and she told us they were appetizers...hmmm...that doesn't sound right. Then, the food was served to the table in a weird order, we didn't get our food at same time and the appetizers were not served according to our order...so we had to tell them to pack the one that they didn't serve up so we can take home. Good thing was the portion was similar to what you will get when you dine in. So, overall we were satisfied. Will we be back? Yes. But I do hope that the service can be improved a bit so we can communicate easier and be able to try something else without feeling awkward to order.

I had a great buffet style lunch meal at Tamarind Savoring India in Scott today. They had 9 different vegetarian dishes, 5 meat dishes, 4 desserts, 3 appetizers and fresh fruit too. Also, the buffet includes all you can eat and all you can drink mango lassi and chai. I have been to several other Indian buffets in Pittsburgh, Boston and Seattle and this is my favorite thus far. A friend from work, who was born and raised in India, recommended it and he was spot on. About 2/3 of the clientele were from India, which was a great sign that authentic food was being served. The food had so much flavor and I am going back tomorrow (Sunday), when I heard they’ll have many different items including goat biryani. And last but not least, Yushefa and John checked with me several times, cleared the plates promptly and were super friendly. It was also great to see Chef Sashin checking in on the food and regularly refilling the food at the buffet. Pictures are below. Thank you for an amazing and full of flavor food experience!

We have only ordered from here twice but the food was delicious both times. The first time we ordered online and the food took a little longer than expected but the next time we called and it was ready right away. The portions for the price are very fair and there a tons delicious choices! I can’t wait to order it again.

Been here for 2 times and had best experience in each visit. Today we tried tandoori fish and it’s perfect. We ate Hyderabad chicken dum biryani couple of times and it was perfectly blended with spices and tasteful. Prices are average and there is plenty parking space. Wheel chair accessible too. Third visit review: tried pompret fish.. it was just yum and yum.. must try whenever you are at this place. Service was on point and atmosphere was great too..food 5 service 5 atmosphere 5…..

We visited this restaurant in the month of May 2023. The food was absolutely amazing!!! We ordered idly, dosa, methu vada, veg kothu paratha, cut mirchi and mutton soup. Each item was freshly made and tasted delicious! Our server, John was welcoming, polite and super helpful. We visited along with our 10 month old baby and he made our experience a great one. This Indian restaurant is a ‘must visit’ place.

Vegetarian thali with generous portion of paneer curry, channa masala, onion pakora, fresh salad, 3 mini samosas, fried potatoes, dahl, rasam, sambar, curd, basmati rice, roti, papad and gulab jamoon. John is our server with very gentle and welcoming demeanor. Generous food portion with absolutely fresh ingredients and taste amazing! Having spent 5.5 years in south india, I can say this place legit! Strongly recommended!

Always the best service, delicious food. We enjoy our family dinners here. Highly recommend. Best place in South Hills for Indian food!!! Love the private party room too. Great place to get together with friends. Just tried the buffet. So many vegetarian and non-veg choices! Really happy to have a great Indian place with authentic flavors in the South Hills. Have been every week and have always had a consistently delicious meal.
