Loaded up with cheese and bacon, homemade Susie q's, and the small diner atmosphere make this place perfect for breakfast or lunch. I can't believe I've been missing out on this local diamond in the rough for years. Definitely going back soon.
Old school, lunch counter, burger type diner. Wish the fries were not soggy, better to be crisp.
It was recommended for breakfast, but breakfast menu stopped at 11:30.

I've lived in Pitt for nearly a year now, but had never eaten here due to my rarely being awake during breakfast hours. However, I finally had the chance to to visit this morning...
And man, OH MAN was it worth it: the food was absolutely PHENOMENAL, the coffee deliciously brewed, and the chocolate milk was something that dreams are made of. I will definitely be visiting for breakfast every chance I get in the future!

I was in search of a breakfast quick while in town for a few days. This place did not disappoint, the food was delicious, large quantities, an unbeatable price and beyond friendly staff! You will not be disappointed if you decide to stop to grab a quick bite.
Bob's Grill is a Pittsburg icon and jewel. From the days of Bob being there flipping burgers and maybe having a whiskey, to the present days of Rick and his crew. There is not a better burger and home fries in the Midwest. And don't forget to get a side of gravy for the fries.
By far the best breakfast around, with fast service.
The weekly specials are also phenomenal, with my favorite being Wednesday's Homemade Chicken and Noodle Dinner.
Love this place. It's great food and one of the only places in town you can still eat for under 10 bucks. If you haven't been in, it's definitely worth it!
The most quaint little restaurant with a wraparound bar where you can visit with the wait staff while your meal is being prepared. They were genuinely friendly, down to earth, treated us like kings and the food was exceptional. In addition, it was very clean and well kept. I’ll come here every time I’m in Pittsburg.
Had the cheeseburger with grilled onions and fries, it is definitely one of the best in the area! They have 12-15 seats at the counter and a few tables and we were fortunate to find a spot during the lunch hour, but those waiting didn't have a long wait. The special was chicken and noodles and it looked yummy. The staff does a great job of tending to everyone quickly. We will be back for sure!
