Well, you can't miss it! And if the service were better, it would have awesome. The food is ok too. Consider the location and they are doing great too as a business. The pub is also a cool place. I just wish the service had been better.

This is a pretty good eating establishment during the summer. They have a grilling place outback and I mean the food there is OK they sometimes do get your order wrong tho

Great food and service. Loved the pizza. Could use a few more beers like Blue Moon.

We only ate at the restaurant. Waitress was outstanding and very helpful. The only thing we didn't care for were the onion rings. The homemade chicken tenders were the best ever. The chocolate cream pie I had and the coconut cream pie my husband had was also the best ever. If it were not so far away we would for sure go again.

This review is for the pub and restaurant only (haven't stayed in the lodge). I love this place! Great food, reasonable prices, super people, and the atmosphere is so great - kind of a giant log cabin. It's really fun every season. Everyone in here is having fun, because so many of them are tourists on vacation, either off roading or snow mobiling. I've ordered lots of different things on the menu, and I can't really recommend one thing over the others, because I've never had a bad meal. Only downside is that since the pandemic, northern NH has gotten a bit crowded during certain times of the year, and service can be a little slow (not their fault!) DEFINITELY make the trip here.

We love this place..,..The rooms are Always ready early, they're spotless, and everyone there is awesome....The bartenders Kelly and Caroline are great people. The beauty of nature here is like nowhere else. If you want to be way off the beaten path, this is the place to go. We had a Mama and 3 cubs visit us as they are getting ready to hibernate.. This is our go to place when we go snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, hiking, or even just to relax ..

Haven't stayed, bcz we're locals, but dinner was freakin awesome....service as well. Smiling, & greeted us. New owners have really whipped this place around. We had a great dining experience, and had mother in law w/us, who was visiting from afar, she said, and I quote "It was the biggest and best blt she ever had ,ever"...she was tickled. Keep up the great work. Next time, we're going to visit the"pit"...🥰

The Buck Rub Pub is a great place to go for a date, a family meal or just for drinks. You can dine inside or out on the deck. There's also an outdoor pavillion area/setup out back, where you can order smoked and/or grilled food, made right there under the pavillion. There is plenty of space for outdoor games and a stage for live bands to play. There is also a little indoor shop in the back of the restaurant.... right next to the arcade game machines and the bathrooms..... where you can purchase shirts or other nice "Buck Rub" items/memorabilia.
The Buck Rub is a great restaurant with a nice "Woodsy feel" to it (with beautiful wood furniture throughout). The staff are ALWAYS friendly. And the food is ALWAYS good. Whenever we spend a weekend in Pittsburg, we eat here.
P.S. If lemon cream cheese pie is on the desert menu, get it. You wont be disappointed. It's AMAZING!

Food was really good, the bartender made great drinks, but the wait staff was short and not very accommodating

The Buck Rub Pub is a must for a lunch in Pittsburg! Opens at noon on Saturday in the summertime. The steak and cheese was fantastic and a perfect portion for a hungry guy. The staff is so friendly and there’s great seating at the bar. The bathrooms are super clean too.
