As a seasonal camper and ATV rider we have made reservations here for all the major holidays and just in general food is always amazing, service is good, and everyone we have brought with us as said the same thing

One of the best restaurants in the North Country! We have a home in Pittsburg, NH and this is a must on every visit! Great food, service and atmosphere. Love the huge fireplace!

What a great spot and restaurant!! The food was absolutely amazing- you have to try the pheasant and venison sausage. SO GOOD! We loved the atmosphere and really enjoyed the slower pace of everything- it made us enjoy the time together even more and we didn’t feel rushed to leave! If you are looking for fast-paced dining where you are in and out in an hour, this is not for you. They even recommend getting an appetizer and drinks first because the meals are specially prepared for each guest so they take longer. So, If you’re looking to relax, enjoy the atmosphere and your company + get stellar food, then this is the place! We celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary here and it was perfect. Definitely recommend

This place will win four stars except for one thing the waiters are the nicest people ever they will apologize for even the littlest things like if they take your plate too early and if they add too much ice, they are extremely nice and the food there is delicious the kids hamburger that was nine dollars bigger than most hamburgers at places that are like $20 for one I would highly recommend going here

Can't tell you enough how great this place was. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our service. Definitely recommend getting reservations. We chose to reserve seats in the tavern area.

Haven't been since preCovid and was surprised by how few tables they have in the dining area now. Could be a cautious, health thing or lack of available waitstaff. Dinner was excellent as always (sadly this establishment remains the only consistently good restaurant in a 50 mile radius. I am not saying you won't get a good meal somewhere else in that radius but will you get the same good meal and service everyday you go there? Doubt it. The North Country has many wonderful things to offer but in the last 10 years those consistent restaurateurs here have disappeared. We need a small to medium size excellent menu where the items are the same fabulousness everyday, all day, which requires a great kitchen manager (who trains their cook staff about consistency and builds a sense of honor and respect with all staff so they stick around). Keep hoping more of that type will land here and stay🙂

We have been visiting your restaurant for many years and in that time have been served by many. Mostly is was a good experience. What made our most recent visit so pleasurable was our waiter. His name was Chris S, this new face on your staff was very impressed. Very knowledgeable of your menu, and even some of the history of your restaurant. Chris paid attention to detail from his introduction to wishing us safe travels on our way home. Wow, if you are in the area you need to eat here!! The food, drinks, and experience were top notch! I ordered the Mill Cove Pie and a Chocolate Moose Martini, and it was to die for. After dinner we stopped at the gift shop and bought some great apparel. I forgot my leftovers in the gift shop and the hostess brought them to our cabin nearby. The service here can not be beat.
