I ended up at this Korean spot because the two others I checked first were fast-food style and wanted me to "build my own." I know I enjoy authentic bibimbap, but don't know its ingredients off the top of my head, so I kept walking. I'm glad I did, because this place has nice atmosphere, reasonable prices, and traditional dishes with only the essential options (such as chicken or tofu instead of beef). Also the chef/owner has a positive, relaxed vibe that added the final, just-right personal touch.
This place is amazing! Great food and the staff is extremely friendly. I HIGHLY recommend this establishment.
Bibimbap dolsot as takeout- obviously they can’t do the regular stone bowl experience for takeout where the rice gets crispy from the bowl, but it was still delicious. Well seasoned with a touch of spiciness (3/10 heat level). Looked like a one person operation when we were there, good service.
Fantastic Korean Bibimbap just around the corner from my office. I have no idea how I've never been here before, and I'm glad I finally stopped by because the food was fantastic. I got my beef bowl to go, and not only did it come out super quickly, but I got to watch the owner put everything together and it's all fresh!
The food was to die for! If you like Korean and I'll definitely be getting lunch here again, I actually might get it again today! getting hungry as I write this. I also tried their house made Ginger Cinnamon tea. It was good, and not extremely flavor packed, yet still very enjoyable.
Delicious, beautiful, tasty homemade food! The man there (chef/owner?) helped us decide and we basically ended up ordering most of the menu because it all sounded so good. Very fair prices. And the food came out super quick, in about 5 minutes! Loved the spicy kimchi and ginger cinnamon tea on a cold night, and of course the bibimbap was delicious.
The best bibimbap I've had in the city. The flavors are amazing and the portions are nice sized. The owner is super nice and friendly. Def recommend checking this place out.
Spicy tofu stew was delicious. Kimchee as well. I ate everything. The cooks were so thoughtful, and it is very much like eating in someone's kitchen. Realized there is likely fish sauce in the stew and also anchovy in the kimchi but I let it go.
Amazing, authentic, Korean food made by Korean owners. The restaurant is small but clean. On Thursday evening, there was no line. Quick service. So yummy. The menu is limited to different kinds of bibimbap and one spicy tofu soup, but that's why each item is so yummy. I'm gonna bring my parents here who will appreciate this so much (because they're korean too). For bibimbap in center city Philly, I will always come here.
Great little place to get bibimbap. The owners are very friendly. Good price and flavor. Get a side of kimchi (heads up, it's a little spicy).
First impressions: it's very clean. The food is authentic and yummy. Only improvement, three times the protein would be nice.
This is my go-to spot to get takeout for lunch. I’ve only eaten the tofu bibimbap so I can only speak about that. It is delicious, fast, a good size portion, and just the perfect to-go lunch for me. Ive never eaten in the restaurant but would like to to try a wider variety of dishes.
One of my fav go-to places for lunch! Small, family run joint that preps delicious food.
