Food is really good and staff is very helpful and friendly. There is a good selection of plates, cocktails, and sake. It is a very small space. But the decor and ambiance is cozy and intimate. There is a bar as well as seating area that are equally nice to sit at.
One thing though is that each time I go, the food is really salty. It's good but it's really salty. Sometimes its unpleasantly salty.I am constantly drinking water and even when I leave my tongue is parched and dry. The broth, the dumplings, wings... etc. Is all sooo salty. I hope they can lay off the sodium a bit.
The food was alright - not quite authentic, more westernized type. The miso soup noodles, and beef dumplings are good choices.
The place is small so getting a table during busy hours is difficult - note no bookings for small parties.
Service is excellent.
Good unique selection of ramen and apps. This location is much better than the Fishtown. Chicken was breaded near perfectly. Meats in the ramen was flavorful and noodles had good texture to bite into. Broth was delicious, only ask might be to get a little more to dip on.
Overall, highly recommended. Very small venue to expect to wait during normal lunch and dinner hours.
Loved the Ramen. The service was the best part. The restaurant was packed so we had to wait a little for a table. The hostess checked in with us a few times to apologize for the wait. When seated, she comped us an appetizer for being so patient. I will definitely be back.
Very creative and tasty ramen. Cool decor and nice service! 7 moms walk away from magic garden. Love the food and experience! The classic miso ramen rocks.
It isn't easy to get a 5 out of me but this place right here was perfect. I don't eat a lot of meat and especially not brisket but 1 time a year but I was told it was the best and the steamed dumplings were selling like hot cakes. I am very picky and this place made me want my own little joint like this that mixes many different fusions together. Yummy.
Brisket Ramen - matzo ball, kimchi, sesame red chili broth
Bulgogi Beef Dumplings - kale chimichurri, crispy quinoa
Great ramen spot albeit a little pricey for other comparable / similar ramen spots in center City. This location has mostly bar seating with a few tables. I had the 'chinese take out' which was delicious. It was ho-fa noodles that came accompanied with a stir fry in a takeout container. I concur with an earlier reviewer - that the music was a tad bit loud, although I did not care, as I was dining alone at lunch time.
This is a great spot. The food was great and came out at a good speed. The quality of the food was quite well. My only complaint would be that the noodles didn’t taste fresh or authentic. Also, this is a tight spot, as in not that much seating. So maybe your best bet might be to order out if you have a large party. Other than that, its a neat little spot for some lunch time noodles and what not. [pictured is the brisket ramen $15]
We stopped in for Happy Hour and ordered a few beers which were a $1 off and all the Happy Hour Apps before heading to dinner. We ordered dumplings, wings, shishito peppers and a corn rangoon. I didn't think their food was great but average. I really enjoy their sister company Bing Bing Dimsum and found out this day we visited that they were owned by the same company because the ambiance was similar. Overall 4 stars.
Really cute spot especially since every where else it was packed for Happy Hour. The food was so delicious, and I totally understand the Happy Hour serving size, but I don't think the waiter understood me when I said I wanted a full sized serving of the garlic wings. I was hungry, I wanted my drink to be Happy Hour, but I wanted a full sized dish I don't care for food being discounted or not. It's food. The asparagus on the menu was also delicious, and because I didn't get enough fill from the wings I ordered the asparagus as well. The drink list is nice, but nothing really interested me I guess? I like to have more variety. Also back on the topic of Happy Hour food vs. full sized. Happy Hour wings you get four for $5, but ten for $10. I wanted the ten because I was really hungry. It's a really small place, and there's also only one bathroom. Bathroom wallpaper is super cute! So it's a give and take place, would I go again? I don't think so. But it was decent.
