This is the place. I have been looking for exactly this for years. It’s the perfect breakfast sandwich. An absolutely excellent family-owned and run joint with amazing freshly made and reasonably priced bacon egg and cheese sandwiches. What more can one possibly need? Great iced coffee too and a side of scrapple which was also excellent. Inexpensive too. I will be a loyal customer and honestly can’t recommend this place enough. It’s cash only, but very much worth the ATM trip. Don’t use their ATM out front though, it has a totally ridiculous $3 or $4 surcharge. Considering many of their sides/additions cost $1 or less, the first time I stopped by I actually left. I didn’t have cash and the ATM was just stupid to use. But a total 10/10 experience otherwise.
What a wonderful unique Philly landmark! It's a legendary joint where you can enjoy the true edible history of the city the location the food and the wonderful nice staff tell the story of the brotherly love city, please don't miss it and try the the combo with fish cake.
Came highly recommended and definitely delivered. Can’t stop thinking about the Hot Egg & Cheese … and the long hots.
They have the best hot dogs and hot sausage sandwiches anywhere in this area. And I'm a former New Yorker who used to love Nathan's. This place beats anywhere!! And they have been around forever which I love. Go there and check this place out!!!
I’ve been going to this place the last 5+ yrs since my friend introduced me to this place. I usually get their hot sausage breakfast sandwich which comes with egg and cheese or the hot sausage sandwich off the lunch menu. I haven’t had anything else from them besides those 2 items. So this review is only based on these two items. Whenever I crave for a hot sausage this place is definitely my go to place. The price is reasonable and food comes out pretty quick. I prefer the breakfast hot sausage sandwich while comes the egg and cheese and I usually add fried onions to it. If you around the area definitely give it a try. The only con about this place is the parking. If you go during busy hours you might have problem finding parking. They do have a little park lot there fits about 4-5 cars but most of the time it’s packed.

Tasty tasty meat and mushrooms. Very crusty roll, I thought I was a soft roll guy but I may have been incorrect!! Meat had a great meat flavor but I would have liked more meat and a place to sit and eat. Lots of regulars getting big orders and one policeman, good signs.
Johnny didn't disappoint! Hot sausage fish cake sandwich was banging. The fish cake was very good a seasoned well the sausage had that nice snap when you bite into it. I put ketchup cheese and onions on it the onions were good it gave another texture to it but it intensified the spiciness of the sausage because they were raw onions I would have preferred cooked onions. This is Jawn is a winner!
I ordered hot sausage with the works, it was so good. The works is relish onion and mustard. It says famous sausage, that it is. Staff are great also what they do. Delaware and Columbia Ave.
Great fresh food all the way down to the custom made hot dog bun. I had the pork sandwich today and the hot dog was spicy brown mustard both were very delicious.
