A foodie paradise! The food portions are generous and very reasonable. It's a bit like a labyrinth and the aisles can get clogged with people coming and going. I recommend The Dutch Place for one of the best breakfasts you'll have in Philly. Along with food stalls are kiosks that sell herbs, candy, meats, and seafood.
This is a place you must visit if you are in Philly. For discounted parking instructions check the website of the Reading terminal market. With a $10 purchase and validation by the merchant, parking is $4 for 2 hours in the adjacent Hilton garage. There is fresh produce, fish, meat, wine, cheeses, coffee shops, eateries offering a variety of cuisines as well as many other foods. The veggie stack sandwich from Market bakery and the cookies from 4th street cookies were absolutely delicious. We were unable to get the banana pudding from Sweet Nina's since we were here in the morning and they open only at noon. The only disappointment was the Farmer's platter from Molly Malloy's kitchen. The eggs were cold, the bacon was rubbery and the potatoes were nothing to talk about. The breakfast was just inedible. We had ordered 'to go' and sat on one of the tables right outside. We later realized that there was a separate area for indoor dining and wondered whether the food being served inside was any better. We enjoyed the many gingerbread houses on display.
Very cool spot to visit. You can literally get any type of food here! From burgers, to cheesesteaks, gumbo, Dutch Amish food, fresh fish/seafood, and so much more! Lots of sweets available for purchase and a few little shops with trinkets too
This place was walking distance from our hotel, literally right across the street and they have everything you could want and more. Tons and tons of good options, anything you can imagine really, and even some stores. This place is so unique and definitely worth a visit if you’ve never been or are just in the area for a short while. During our time here we are at like four different places alone. The cookie place, by George; the diner place right when you walk in, and the bar in the back.

We've visited the Market dozens of times to shop and eat, and always enjoy this classic Philly experience. It's our go-to location to get authentic Philly food gifts for out-of town friends and family. We love Bassett's ice cream, Carmen's cheesesteaks, DiNic's pork sandwiches and all the sweet shops. Getting a table around weekend lunchtimes can be a challenge. I usually get negotiating duty while my family gets my meal. Say hi and feed Philbert the bronze pig with a Food Trust donation. This year, we enjoyed the free gingerbread house display.
So much fun. So much action and variety of color and textures food and people. If you lived in the area you could actually buy your groceries there. But the main thing is the lunch crowd and I do mean crowd. Every type of ethnic food choice is available there.
Foodies delight!
We stayed at the hotel across the street and eat here most of the time.
There was something for the whole family.
We had donuts, crepes for dessert.
We took cheese, butter and bread for back home.
This place is a must when visiting Philadelphia.
Just an amazing food hall in downtown Philadelphia that you must try! In fact, it may be the best place to eat in town! So many options to choose from for just about every kind of cuisine you could want including plenty of stuff for your sweet tooth. It’s also a legit food market for those wanting to buy stuff to cook at home. Very, very busy almost all the time so you do have to fight the crowd a little bit. But, it’s really a lot of fun just to wander through the whole place and take everything in. You’re going to pay between $10 and $15 for a meal but that’s not too bad. I would personally recommend the Fourth Street Cookie Company, and the donut shop. The Dutch Eating Place has a hot turkey sandwich platter that was amazing and a great value. There are places to sit inside the food hall, but getting a table can be a bit of a challenge. Just go check it out. You won’t be disappointed.
Reading Terminal Market is awesome!!! I loved it, so much to choose from, and everything is so delicious. We had breakfast here and then lunch. It's so convenient that everything is all together in one spot. We enjoyed visiting Philadelphia, and definitely, this was a favorite spot.

Such a fun concept!!! This place is massive with tons of food, dessert, and grocery options. My favorite was the cajun spot and the ice cream. It was packed during my visit. Definitely a Philly staple.
