Wow, wow, wow! What a terrific restaurant. So glad we ventured out there. The staff and service are great. The food - amazing! No bland olive oil/butter here. They start the meal with warm bread served with cold roasted veggies drenched in balsamic.
We couldn't decide on whether or not to get the eggplant appetizer - stuffed with spinach, ricotta, and mozzarella in a rose sauce - and we did not. A little while later, the server shows up with the appetizer and says it's on them because it was our first time there. What?! And it was delish!
We got the bruschetta which is very good but heavy on the onion - not a criticism, just be aware - as well as a Caesar salad and a poached pear salad. All very good - but our eyes definitely overloaded our stomachs.
Next were the entrees - also delicious. We had the Chicken Parm with a side of spaghetti, Salmone alla Veneziana, Zuppa di Pesce, and Pollo Picatta.
Three desserts to share - the Apple Tart w/ Vanilla Gelato (warm and amazing!), Multi flavored gelato (like being back in Italy), and Banana Cream Pie (the only miss of the night - a weird texture and flavor but we still ate it). LOL
Authentic Italian - Do yourself a favor and go!
I visited Phili with some of my best friends and this restaurant was the highlight of our trip there. The food is absolutely incredible! The Cavatelli was my favorite from what I tried and next time I'm back in Phili, this is a must stop for me.
10/10 definitely recommend! I love the authentic Italian atmosphere, as well as hospitality. Food was phenomenal! Highly recommend the Alfredo & chicken parm!
They were so attentive and so accommodating with our last minute reservation. The food was spectacular especially the Salmon, burrata & the Chicken Francese.
Went here tonight and coincidentally it's their 30th anniversary as well. The owner came over and she was very friendly and gave out food suggestions. Jenna the waitress also was very friendly and helpful as she helped my party to choose the food. Everything was scrumptious from the bread right up till dessert. They even comp our desserts which is very sweet of them definitely would come again
Business dinner here for 4. Family owned and run, literally. Hostess was the owner, server was her daughter, and the little helper was her granddaughter. Brought our own wine and appreciated the no cork charge. Food was fantastic. Speedy service as well. Loved this little place. "Country mice" beware: parking is on the street or in the middle of the street. You'll see when you drive there... Or just Uber there from your hotel like my guests did. Sorry no pics!
A fabulous dining experience! They were so welcoming and took extra care to explain their menu and answer our questions. The Cavatelli was delicious and lived up to the accolades it received. Another favorite was the Linguine Pescatora, keeping to the seafood theme - a forte of this remarkable Italian eatery. The Fettuccine Alfredo and Chicken Parmigiana are fantastic options for those who prefer the familiar or want to avoid seafood.
The portions were large, easily enough to share or fill a hungry belly. Save room for dessert too.
While the food is great, what puts Restorante Pesto over the top are the staff. From being welcomed at the door to the young man who cleaned our table, we were treated like family. Thank you. The next time we are in town we'll be back for sure.
I had a fantastic meal. The owner Concetta was simply amazing. She is so charismatic and I appreciated her hospitality. The food was a six out of five stars. Thanks to my friend Emilio for recommending this gem.
Ristorante Pesto gave me an amazing meal that knocked me off my feet. I felt like I was in Italy because of how cozy it was and how good it smelled.
The food was a symphony of tastes, and each dish was full of emotion and authenticity. Every delicious bite showed how much the cook cared about making Italian masterpieces, and the quality of the ingredients was clear.
What really struck me about the restaurant was how clean and well-kept it was. In the world we live in now, it's nice to eat in a clean and safe place, and Ristorante Pesto got it right. During the whole meal, I felt safe and at ease.
The staff was very nice and helpful, and their service was excellent. They knew everything about the food on the menu and helped us choose what to eat.
I can't say enough good things about Ristorante Pesto. It's a delicious treat that always puts a strong emphasis on cleaning. If you like Italian food or just want a great meal, this is the place to go. The team did a great job, so hats off to them! I am already looking forward to going back for more delicious food adventures.
Dined here on Saturday June 25th after rave reviews from our friends and they were not wrong! Everyone was extremely friendly, from the bussers to the owner and everyone in between. It was like eating over your Italian aunt's house! Fresh bread service with oil, grated cheese and crushed red peppers. Each table is brought a dish of marinated carrots. Oh my lord, the carrots. I could just eat these by the bucket full and be content. For apps we ordered the calamari and bracciolatini. Best calamari I've ever had!! Fresh with the perfect coating. Bracciolatini was tender and delicious. Entrees were their award winning Cavatelli (short homemade pasta with lobster, shrimp and crabmeat in a rose sauce), Vitello mare e Monti (veal with shrimp, mozzarella and prosciutto in a mushroom demiglasse), salmon alla veneziana (salmon with shrimp, clams, mussels and crabmeat in a rose sauce) and gnocchi in a gorganzola sauce. Again everything was wonderful. Pastas are homemade. The gnocchi were like little potato pillows from heaven that just melted in your mouth. Ended things on a perfect sweet note with great desserts including creme brulee, reese's cake, oreo ice cream cake and a limoncello marscarpone cake. We will be back and bring anyone who will let us. Such a friendly, welcoming environment with outstanding food! Do not miss this spot!
