A quaint place on the street corner. The owner/manager is very jovial and engaging with his staff and the customers. It's a nice atmosphere inside, easy to pick a meal from the selections on the monitor display. The specialty slices go for around $5.25 and it's a huge slice. I like coming here for lunch.
Excellent down to earth experience. Nothing pretentious, excellent food, excellent service. Good cheesesteak and excellent burgers. Fries were hot and crisp.
Rex Pizza is one of the most comfortable, peaceful and respectful places I have ever visited. I ordered several things to try and all the food is fresh ,hot and delicious! Especially the wing’s.The prices are reasonable and so worth every penny. I didn’t expect any thing less being as though the owner is very handsome. If your in Philadelphia Pennsylvania I suggest visiting Rex Pizza.
I loved pizza wings and Philly chicken. You have to try food here when u go Philly
the employees here are very nice! they keep the shop clean and they are always smiling. the food was great! large portions for a small price which is a bonus! they also have TVs with football games. we will definitely come back on my next trip to the city :)

Order up! Late night pizza find. Rex Pizza and Beer #Letsguide Philadelphia - Center City #pizza spinach mushroom extra cheese Wonderful Service. Friendly!
I ordered a small pizza from their website and that went well. It was ready on time. It was half cheese / half pepperoni. It was tasty, and the crust is good. It was greasier than I'd like, however. My wife got a specialty vegetarian pizza the day before and said it was amazing. I didn't feel the same way about my half 'n half pizza, but I did enjoy it.
Great little hole in the wall. I went for the cheesesteak which was delicious and substantial. Nice and soft cookies too. They also have pizza by the slice. Good prices for 2023 ($11.50 for the cheesesteak). Small little eating space with about 6 tables and fast preparation.
This place is LEGIT! We were visiting from Baltimore to do the Philadelphia Bike Ride and we absolutely needed to experience an authentic Philly Cheesesteak. We found this place while biking back to the car. This was one of the best (if not THE best) cheesesteak subs I have ever had in my life. No joke. The service was awesome. The guy at the register who took our order was funny and made us feel really welcome. I think his name was Paul maybe and I think he was the owner. Not sure. He kept taking calls on his cell phone and sitting out in the restaurant area. He spoke with a kind of Philadelphia accent and had a really welcoming disposition. This place was 100% what we were looking for.
Great food, really outstanding. The place is really nice and simple. The service is very good, you need to get used to the manager's loud voice, he's very good once you get used.
The rest of the staff... They are so nice, period.
Reasonable prices, and they sell beers to go.
The best place in a square mile or more.
