My friends and I decided to start our weekend in Philly with some Korean BBQ and Seorabol did not disappoint! If you want a table in this smaller sized restaurant then you better make a reservation! Especially on the weekends. Rookie mistake on our end, but the wait staff quickly offered us a bar seating arrangement. Our kind host, Lisa sat us on down and gave us our menus. We started the night with some Soju wine and it was very delicious!
Please note that there are menu items that are priced kinda high and while I can’t speak for those items I stuck to a nice comparable rice dish. The Kimchi Bokkum Bop was not only delicious but by far one of the most generous servings I have ever got at a restaurant! It took me three attempts to be able to eat this entire dish. It made my lunch at work very enjoyable to say the least.
I look forward to my next visit, I look forward to bringing more friends/family and I look forward to further exploring their menu in the future. Thank you again to the incredibly kind and talented staff! You truly make eating out a very pleasurable experience! I will be back for some more.
I was visiting from out of town with some girlfriends. So glad we went. Clyde was our server and he was absolutely the best! I'll be back whenever I'm in the city of brotherly love. Food was great - Definitely try the what the dduk and the soju cocktails 🍸
Food was delicious and service was fantastic. Casual vibe with modern atmosphere. I had the bibimbap and the portion was very generous — almost too much to finish.
Great atmosphere, and the service this evening was fabulous. I couldn't stop saying that I loved the food. It was really that good.
They had a whole variety of vegetarian options, which were delicious.
What a fun restaurant. I surprised my wife with the dinner before a show. The location is perfect for Merriam and other theaters. The colorful walls and upbeat music set the mood. The small plates allowed us to try a lot of different things which was fun. All of the food was tasty and well prepared. Our servers were friendly. It make a great start to the evening.
Good place to try authentic Korean food. The kimchi they serve I think is a nice compromise; less fishy and spicy but just enough to still taste authentic. I wish it was a little more crunchy though. No complaints with the food, although nothing was exceptional, either.
Bella was fantastic! The food was outstanding. We did it pre-show and it is so close to parking and walking distance to Broad Street where the Academy of Music, Kimmel Center, etc.
I told Bella "the food is so good, I want to Scream!
I had the Dolsot Bibimbap with beef! It comes in a heated bowl! I took a video of it sizzling! I love the sides you get as an appetizer!
I told Bella "the food is so good, I want to Scream!
It was a wonderful experience!
Went here without a reservation Saturday night. Although it seemed like tables were open, we were sat at the bar because of reservations- no biggie. We ordered their signature galbi and dolsot bibimbap with chicken. With the meal, we got banchan - the pickled radishes and tofu were amazing. The galbi was good, but a little underwhelming in terms of flavor and presentation ($32) but the dolsot bibimbap was great. Not the best korean food Ive ever had but great- happy to go here again and try other items on the menu!
A delicious Korean food spot in Philadelphia. Definitely recommend it. Portions are big so make sure you bring the hungry stomach with you.

First time having Korean food with my fiancee. We tried the soondudu, beef dumplings, black bean noodles. The last two were appetizers which were less expensive during happy hour but we couldn't finish them because of the lovely servings of these small free dishes called bonchons. I had a Korean lager which was meh but she got this yogurt cocktail which was unique.
For a couple I'd recommend a soup dish to share and one appetizer. It's gonna be enough as the bonchons are gonna be all you can eat and on the house.
Do try their yogurt cocktail, it's different.
Will definitely go back to try their BBQ items which are at a slightly high price point.
All the items in the pics cost $35 including tax during happy hour (5-7pm)
