Lovely restaurant! We tried the Catfish Bayou and added grits. The grits were bland with no taste. The Catfish and cornbread waffle was really good! My partner had the jerk dark and finished it all! Great experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Love them! The flavors are delicious and it’s always good quality food. The lunch specials make for a better overall value. The rice is cooked so perfectly. Always good service from the owners.

Food is always plentiful and savory! Prices are a bit on the higher end. Dining in is a lovely treat. Sometimes there’s live music which truly sets the tone. I wish them nothing but Sixers success. I pray to see them open up a 2nd location in possibly Mt Airy out Germantown.

I loved this place. I am always looking for great Caribbean food. The restaurant's atmosphere was calm and warm. Our waiter Ms Dee was so kind and attentive to us. She was very knowledgeable about our menu and answered every question in detail in response to our enquiries about the menu. We went there yesterday Tuesday evening June 6th 2023 for black restaurant week and ordered delicious food. I also got the Island Wings their Signature Appetizer Served with Pineapple-Ranch Dip and Vegetable Slaw and it was very good. Omg the Vegetable Spring Rolls Served with Sweet Chili Plum Sauce crispy and flavorful. I am a mac and cheese connoisseur and self-proclaimed "King of macaroni and cheese"or at least everyone that has tasted mine has told me such however this takes me down memory lane when I was a child and all of those after church dinner when Grandma used to bake mac and cheese and other delectable delicious on the plate. words cannot express the love, passion and experience behind everything I tasted. we also enjoyed the blackened catfish on top of warm creamy mashed potatoes served with green beans. I also ordered The jerk Chicken which is a classic Jamaican dish and let me tell you this Chef has what it takes when it comes to authentic Jamaican cuisine. I have never ever had Jamaican jerk chicken so flavorful in my entire. Every spice stands out and is easily married with each other, the rice and peas was magnificent as well as the cabbage. the star of the show was the banana pudding cheesecake. I can't wait to come back to the future visits to try all of the other delicious desserts other dishes on the menu. I have officially made this my favorite Caribbean restaurant in Philadelphia all hands down. I personally don't feel that it gets any better than this! And I guess if it does then I guess I'm in for it and it will be my pleasure indeed Chef Carl Lewis came out to say hello and welcome us there, that was so very nice of him to do that. He has been a certified and licensed Chef for over fifty years and worked in Philadelphia at many of the prestigious restaurants hotels and etc in the city. I can truly say he is a Master of his craft and his hands are anointed to cook. Thank you so much Chef Carl Lewis your food has touched my life and your my inspiration to cook and be a better chef myself, I'm impressed! Words cannot explain how much I enjoyed myself .The music was also a vibe too. I really really enjoyed my experience here and will for sure be coming back for dinner at some point and also brunch too! Thank you again , Julian

My favorite meal while I was in Philly - came from THIS KITCHEN. 1/ Curry chicken - juiciest falling-off-the-bone chicken I ever done had. Wow. Unparalleled - seriously. 2/ Mac and cheese - a little saltier than I like it to be but otherwise loved the baked quality and cheesiness. It was a good complement to the other food. 3/ Yams - I'm gonna need the recipe.... why is it so flavorful! Almost stole the spotlight from the chicken. Again, a wonderful complement to the overall dish. We basically ordered the chicken, mac, mashed potatoes, and green beans, so it was plenty of sides. I absolutely killed that food and have continued dreaming about it since I left. I would fight anyone who disagrees with the quality!

I knew all of this place for a couple years now. However, finally had the chance to take my friends there. We all ordered three different meals. I got oxtail and it was really good. Highly would advise you to try it. The prices were a little expensive for Hanging out with your friends in a restaurant food. At least for three students. However if you’re looking for really good tasting meal excellent service and good portions this restaurant is for it. For example, the oxtail was around $32. We paid around $100 for three peoples meal, we all got to appetizers three main dishes and two side dishes.

I loved this place. I am always looking for great Caribbean food. The restaurant's atmosphere was calm and warm. Our waiter was so kind and attentive to us. We went there at noon on a Thursday and ordered delicious food. I also got the beef patty and it was very good. Crumbly and flavorful. The chef came out to say hello and welcome us there, that was so very nice of him to do that. The music was also a vibe too. I really really enjoyed my experience here and will for sure be coming back for dinner at some point.
