I went to Cake life to pick up a Thanksgiving dessert. My best friend found this place on line and it’s convenient to my house so she ordered me a gift for the holiday. The store is very cute! The girls who were working behind the counter were very very nice they even offered my grandson a cookie, for free, which is unheard of these days. They had beautiful desserts and cakes behind the counter as well as dog biscuits for sale. I love the store I would recommend to a friend. The items that we had purchased were very good. I love the double chocolate cupcakes! Jack loved his dog Biscuits. I even picked up some unicorn poop for my grandsons they thought it was very funny. From the moment I walked up to the front door and saw the rolling pin door opener I was delighted I will go there again for my bakery needs
I got the Nanaimo, Raspberry Meringue, and the Cranberry Lemon Meringue tart and I had a hard time sharing with my sister, but it's a testament to our love that I did. Probably 3 of the best sweets I've ever had. I thought the Nanaimo would be very sweet, but it was perfectly balanced between the custard, chocolate, and the almond coconut crust. Raspberry Meringue was light and full of raspberry flavor. The lemon tart was tart and sweet with a very nice pastry. I'm definitely going back. A lot.
Adorable shop. Possibly the best bakery in Philadelphia. Just as Beyonce... she's a repeat customer!
We brought group visits here and their team welcomed our groups with lots of tasty treats. A safe space that is inclusive for all. This is a "must" for anyone wanting to experience decadent sweets. Chef Nima and their team knows how to bake something really special.

We sat in and enjoyed our self, they were so professional. They gave us a break down of there menu. Definitely coming back!
Absolutely love cake life! Everyone at cult studios is obsessed with the fishtown fog and lemon bars! Everyone is so nice inside and they always have exactly what we want! Today I got a blueberry latte. And it tastes just like a blueberry muffin! Must try! They also have the cutest birthday supplies!
I'm known for bringing awesome cakes for family member's birthdays. A last minute snafu with my usual bakery forced me to look for and take a chance on a new bakery. Cake Life did not disappoint! I bought 2 cakes and they were amazing! Everyone raved about them. Cake Life is now my go-to!

I went to cake life by accident, I just happened to be walking by on Wednesday evening. I got the campfire cocoa cupcake and a cinnamon bun for the next morning. They both were some of the best baked goods I have ever eaten. I highly recommend stopping in here for a treat. I plan to go back soon and order one of everything!
A little treasure in Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia. It was a delicious experience: my hot Latte with a Cheddar-Chive Biscuit.
I will back I saw amazing 🤩 desserts 🧁
Cake life is so good for their CUPCAKES!!! I've gotten all my special occasion cupcakes from here - mother's day, birthdays, etc. I love the fact that they change their flavors periodically, so every time I come back I always get to try new flavors.
I love their Campfire cocoa cupcake (the last 3 times I've been there it's been available, so maybe it's a staple? Lucky me) and the chocolate espresso cookie is delicious too.
I also had a REALLY tasty salted caramel latte here. It was very sugary but I have a huge sweet tooth so it was perfect - those of you who don't love sugar like me may find it too sweet.
Love this cute shop! Stopped by for the Fishtown Freeze to get an iced tea. Ended up with a gingersnap cookie and an interesting dessert called the Nanaimo as well! Great cookie but the Nanaimo stole the show. What an amazing dessert! Decadent is the best word to describe it. I would have posted a picture, but we finished it before even realizing!
Cake Life is a gourmet bakery situated among the best bars and restaurants on Frankford Ave. As their name suggests, they are known for phenomenal layer cakes. However, you’ll find much more than that to choose from when visiting. They serve up some incredible dessert bars, sweet pastries, and savory options like quiche and scones. In fact, it’s a great spot for a quick breakfast.
The prices reflect the high quality and richness of their offerings. We’ve taken home so many delicious treats, but are favorites are any cake (tres leches and peach are awesome) and the dessert bars. Their cake icing is a firm, rich, buttery icing which is simultaneously airy and not overly sweet. Stop by for special occasions, but you’ll want something extra to selfishly enjoy!
Super cute shop with lovely treats! Cupcakes were tasty.
