Our new neighborhood coffee shop has now become a routine for our weekend mornings. The food, coffee and service is incredible. Try the sausage & egg platter.
Screw pizza and Chinese food THIS is my Idea of home take out!!!!! Same cost and so much better. Beef bourginon cremebrulee 1800 s 4th st. Try their apple crumb danish... to die for!
I didn’t know this was a sit-down cafe, and I was pleasantly surprised. Creme Brulee was humming with good energy my entire visit. I grabbed a seat in the corner and told the host I would be staying a while (four hours between meals and meetings). I propped up my laptop, ordered a coffee (bottomless?), and got to work. Over the course of a few hours, I watched regulars dine-in, folks order pastries to go, and the staff handle their intimate operation with grace. I saw a few buddies - 5 to be exact - during my visit, which made it truly feel like a local watering hole. I got the omelet for lunch, and it didn’t need a shake of salt or pepper (that’s how you know). My buddy ordered an almond croissant; completely unprompted, he rolled his eyes and tilted his head back with sincere pleasure. I look forward to going back here. If it wasn’t a weekday, I probably wouldn’t have occupied a table with my laptop, but it was quiet enough for me to do so. Between the Eagles win and this sweet stop, it was the perfect way to start a Monday.
Really awesome, little spot in South Philly. Definitely a must for anyone living in the area that hasn't been yet!
I had their Creme Brûlée Omelet which was great, I'm normally skeptical of cherry tomatoes in an omelet but it was perfect and very filling. My friend and real estate partner Rich had their fish and chips and loved it, all I can say is that it looked fantastic!
I also grabbed a lemon tart on my way out that was to die for! They make all their pastries in house, and I'm looking forward to trying their mixed berry tart next time I'm in the neighborhood. Would highly recommend.
This is absolutely my new favorite spot in South Philly. A French-Mexican restaurant that offers French toasts with eggs! Clean, excellent service, bakery options to purchase and exquisite coffee drinks. I am a coffee lover and is hard to find a place like this. Also, if you are lucky, you can get to try their tasting plate, which has a little bit of their best dishes.
Came here twice. Sandwich was pretty good, pancakes were decent. It’s a cute little place but very little seating.
This is one of my favorite places to go! The drinks, the meals, and the pastries are SO GOOD! The menu here is stacked and diverse filled with lots of great options! The workers are super nice!! The whole vibe of this place is cute, cozy, and very comforting! I will definitely continue to come back!
Awesome spot! Great coffee and a talented French baker! Delicious croissants and pastries, Desserts are superb, broad selection, long hours, run by a sweet & hard working family: show some love, this is a great little neighborhood gem!
I really enjoyed this place. Cozy spot with outdoor dining, and a modest selection of gluten free baked goods as well. The asparagus was great and the ShakShuka was good as well. Definitely plan on coming back here.
Amazing selection of sweets. I come here several times a week for coffee/tea and a dessert! I also love their regular menu and often grab a burger or sandwich when I need a quick bite. Can't wait to try brunch; the omelettes always look amazing!
This is the best restaurant I have found for breakfast and lunch. I have traveled all over the world over 70 countries in 5 continents and consider this to be one of the best. Very fortunate it is here in Philadelphia.
