Great food. Got to sit outside which was nice, otherwise the noise level inside would have been too much. Had a great meal and great service despite a little hiccup which this staff took care of. Definitely recommend going but bring some earplugs! Sit outside if you can, talk to your neighbors and watch the scenery go by

We stumbled upon this place while visiting Philly for Army Navy Game. We had the best food, wine, and fun experience. Everyone and I mean everyone was amazing! The manager Michael and our server Frank (plus others that helped) treated us like family and were absolutely a riot full of fun! We tried almost every tapas all were excellent! As were the charcuterie/cheeses. The Spanish wine LaMaldita Garnacha Rioja was a nice surprise. Can't wait to go back! Salud!

We enjoyed experience and our tapas at Barcelona very much! Our waiter was very helpful and his recommendations for our wine selections were perfect. We liked the variety of tapas we chose and all were delicious. We were satisfied without feeling stuffed. They also arrive at the table quickly so adding a few additional dishes isn't a problem if you want more. We shared flan to end the meal and it was wonderful. We'll definitely return!

Been a big fan and got to try brunch today! Jenn was amazing as well as my bartender who made me their fav version of espresso martini. Serrano Benedict was amazing and so was the Olive oil pancakes. Pricing is so reasonable and can’t wait to come back!

Barcelona Wine Bar is a fantastic restaurant in the heart of the East Passyunk area. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a great atmosphere. The restaurant was very clean and well organized. The atmosphere was so cozy and comfortable. They also have great music which wasn’t very loud. The majority of their menu is “tapas” (appetizers or snacks in Spanish cuisine). I ordered spinach&chickpea cazuela which was a little bit salty, cauliflower, crispy calamari, eggplant caponata and whipped sheep’s cheese. The food was just outstanding. I liked all of them, but cauliflower and whipped sheep’s cheese more than other tapas. The service was just great. All the wait staff were very attentive and kind. My waitress Allison was very friendly and helpful. They were very sensitive with any food allergies too. The prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommend!

First time here, and was very surprised and impressed with the interior design. The food and atmosphere is the number one reason to stop by this wonderful place. The service is very fast and friendly. The Tapas are great. I would suggest 3-4 tapas person to share.

Having been in Barcelona (Bar-the-lo-nuh), Spain for 3 days back in May, I am now a full blown expert on Spanish cuisine and tapas so I was excited when a budding love interest made a res at this place. Oh you pronounce it "Bar-seh-lo-nuh?" Oh, ok.......... We arrived right on time for our 8:45 reservation, and were told they were running a bit behind so we went to grab a drink at the bar. Oh you think 8:45 is late for a res? You must have never been to Spain... It's really just a culture thing, you wouldn't get it........... Aahahaahaha okay my bad I'm done being an A-hole I just like to yank your chain every once in a while, my dear reader. After about 15 minutes at the bar, we were told our table was ready. I grabbed my Alebrijes and her Summer Street Sling, both fantastic drinks, and set them down at our table. We sat down and our waitress, Danielle, dressed as an off brand Mario since it was Halloweekend, came to greet us. Danielle was a mf VIBE! After we ordered a FEAST, I asked if we were missing anything and she said we had to get the Chicken Pintxos while telling us which item to get rid of. How could you not respect that confidence? We ended up ordering the following: Brussel Sprouts, Patatas Bravas, Chicken Pintxos, Beef Empanadas, Croquetas, Grilled Steak, and the Paella Mariscos. I asked Danielle "Is that enough you think?" ... "Oh that is PLAH-EN-TY!" she responded with a big smile that expressed playful doubt in our ability to finish all of this. I took a little disrespect at the notion that we couldn't finish this, as when you from where I'm from, you always serve back a clean plate. I'M FROM MANHATTAN BEACH! My date eats like a rabbit though, so I had my work cut out for me. The plates came to the table decently spaced out, and honestly everything was fantastic minus the beef empanadas. Danielle even tried to hint at me not to get those, but my ego was too big. I got chin checked. Everyone needs a good chin check once in a while though. The highlight of the meal was, of course, the Chicken Pinxtos. Danielle is NOT playing with these recs!! I also need to shout out the Patatas Bravas and the Paella, both elite dishes in presentation, portion size, and flavor. After putting my budding love interest in the backpack and carrying us to clean plates all around, Danielle came over and gave us our props. Game respects game. However, since I was as stuffed as a Thanksgiving Turkey, I had no room to get the olive oil cake that I was so looking forward to when I saw it on the menu. After reading other reviews. My FOMO is ineffable. I am crushed I didn't get to try this olive oil cake. Guess I will just have to come back...will need to check if Danielle recommends it though. THANK YOU BARTHELONA!!!! Atmosphere: 1/1: well-decorated wooden interiors with wine cellar visible to customers. Service: 1/1: staff was genuine and welcoming. Price: 1/1: Prices are average for Philly Tapas restaurant $7-$14 plates depending on vegetable vs meat plate Food: 1/2: the food was nothing out of this world but overall good. The blistered shishito peppers are delicious and kinda taste like edamame. Queso a la plancha and croquetas de jamon were decent. Carrots we ordered were burnt/overcooked but waitress agreed and took them back without charging us for them. Their expresso martini is definitely worth trying. Overall: 4/5: Cool tapas spot to check out with friends or go on a date.

Love going to this wine bar for small bites and wine. Great place to catch up with old friends or a date night. My favorite is the jamon & manchego croquetas - it is so good and I would recommend that every single time!

The dining experience was delightful, and the service was excellent. I ordered the paella, and it was absolutely delicious. While the drinks were a little bit pricey, overall, it was great.
