Visited here based on word of mouth...great service and great beer. We only had beer, no food. The growlers were very reasonably priced. A must do if you're in Philly and like beer!
Tried 2nd story brewery for first time today for lunch.
Sex on Delaware and Declaration IPA were my 2 choices and both excellent.
Menu also made my choice for a burger very easy. Highly recommend this brewing company/ restaurant a great choice for a tasty burger along with a brew for lunch.
2nd story imo don't change a thing!!!
Pretty good service and food. I ordered the pretzels and dipping fondue, the fondue was amazing!!! I was even able to substitute it for the mustard with no charge. Our waitress was very understanding and did her best to make sure we were comfortable especially when I weirdly got my food before my other two friends did. Hot toddy is so good and smooth!
What a find. Excellent brews. We liked the Persuader IPA, the Declaration, The Daisy Point Pilsner. Fundido appetizer was yummy. Burgers were on point. Fish and chips is fantastic. I found the prices to be reasonable, especially compared to other local establishments. 32oz and 74oz growlers available Highly recommend, worth a visit.
Only went to the first floor but think it is also pretty good. Ridiculous portion sizes and menu has no bad choices. Chicken burger is excellent as is the selection of beers. Also have afternoon happy hour
Very cool place! We popped in here for a drink after dinner. The atmosphere was awesome, lively but relaxed. The bar tenders were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend the cider they had on tap!
This was my first time going out to 2nd story brewing and I really enjoyed it here. They brew some really good, and different types of beer here. I had a dark beer called the city is burning, with really nice smokey notes.
They also had pretty good food. I wasn't very hungry and just had the chips with spicy chicken queso, which was really good, I think they make their own chips. My cousins had the 3 hotdogs, and the ratatouille, and their plates speak for themselves! Will definitely go back to try more of their beers.
Great location! Excellent beer!! Nice ambiance! Cannot go wrong hanging out in this spot!! Tried one appetizer and it was mind blowing!!
Dinner was good. The waitstaff worked hard. Beer was good. The pretzels were good. The salad on the grilled cheese side was delicious. I could eat that all day. Shannon had the fish and chips. It was good. I would order that again.
The beer is pretty good and the wings were great and really spicy. We had attentive service despite it being busy. Love the big space and decor
Second story has a rotating selection of delicious brews. In addition they have a great food menu that pairs well with the beer. The laid back atmosphere and unisex restrooms make this a great spot downtown to catch lunch or happy hour with coworkers or some friends.
2nd Story has a large space, and a really nice variety of beer. Two of those beers had edible glitter! I got the brewer's flight and especially liked Mi Amor. The pretzels and tacos were good.
