Stumbled upon this spot as Reading Terminal Market was closing soon and they were having a $1 per cookie sale so I grabbed 2! The oatmeal orange cranberry cookie was superb—soft and flavorful. The heath bad chocolate chip cookie though tasted more like pure chocolate chip and was harder—nothing to rave about. Next time we are in Philly, I’d be interested to try more cookies though.
One of the best cookie places in Philadelphia. New York has Levain - Philly has Famous 4th Street at The Reading Terminal. Every type of fantastic combination you can think of. Yes they sell milk!!

Loved the chocolate chip...not so much the black and white. The "cake"ish part of the black and white cookies was sponge-cake-like...not a fan. Would love to return to try some more items.

Loved the cookies. I bought a bunch for the family. Bought 5 for $10 and got one for free so six total. I got the Blueberry muffin cookie, 2x chocolate chip, white chocolate macadamia, peanut butter, and oatmeal raisin.
Absolutely delicious cookies for sure! Came across these cookies when I ventured around Reading Terminal Market. They have tons of different flavors: snickerdoodle, white chocolate macadamia, chocolate chip peanut butter, toffee pecan, white chocolate raspberry and the (highly recommended) chocolate red cherry !! There are lots more but these were the ones I tried and vouch for! They encourage you to buy more - 6 for $10! I'll definitely come back to try all the other selections!

I LOVE and 100% recommend The Famous 4th Street Cookie Company! Someone had their cookies mailed to me as a sympathy gift back in 2021. Since then, I myself have sent them to so many family and friends. Here are my top reasons for loving this company: 1. Their chocolate chip cookies are seriously so amazing! (and I am very particular about my chocolate chip cookies), 2. Their service is amazing! They respond to emails and phone messages really quickly and do what they can to help, 3. They are military friendly - whenever I need to ship to my nephew's military base in Alaska (which is very hard to get companies to deliver to by the way), they always help me out, get the shipping done quickly, and are super helpful. When my nephew gets the cookies in Alaska, they are always amazing. This is a great company that I will continue to use to send friends and family delicious gifts.
Cookies here are so soft and delicious. The dipped cookies are excellent, I would recommend them! A great dessert location at Reading Terminal Market.
Idk why people are reviewing this under 5 stars but this place has some of the best cookies I've ever had. Super soft and chewy with the perfect sweetness. I highly recommend the chocolate chip and double chocolate cookies. The Peanut Butter chocolate chip is also really good. Way better than any franchise cookie!

It's so hard to find soft yummy gluten free cookies. And 4th Street's were perfect!
Every time I visited Reading Terminal Market, I ordered their gluten-free option, and NONE of them disappointed.
Their regular cookies must be even more amazing!
Stopped in to grab some Eagles themed cookies before the NFC Championship game. They were all basically decorated black and white cookies. They were delicious. If you have the chance, pair some of their cookies with coffee from Old City Coffee (located in the market). It's a great combo!
