While driving from Myrtle Beach to Folly Beach, we discovered a wonderful restaurant on route 17 called “Litchfield.”
The food was delicious! I had scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, potatoes, a pancake and stewed tomatoes. Hubby had steak and eggs.
I knew the food was going to be good because there were many locals there.
The service was also excellent and the owner came over to say hello.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!
A special little place that you may pass up, definitely put it on your list for a place to go! It was a wonderful experience. Been living down here for almost 7 years, and I felt like I was on vacation. Brings you back a few years, everything about it was awesome. Planning on going back real soon. The staff were very friendly, made me feel like I’ve been there before. Christine put it very nicely, we are now family.
Great food and service, I was with a large group, and everyone loved their food,
It was my first time having breakfast here. I enjoyed the service, food, and atmosphere.
Classic diner feel with great breakfast selections. Watch out for the chorizo as it is pretty hot! Pancakes are huge too! Service is fast and polite. Open Sundays but close at 1pm.
Never been here before, but I'd noticed it for years by the side of the road. On a whim, we went in for breakfast, and I for one am I happy we did so. I had the single biggest omelet I've ever seen and it was wonderful, with the fillings folded into the eggs.
The serving staff was quick and friendly, and very forgiving when we made a mess.
The restaurant itself was clean, with interesting decorations, and no music to overpower any conversation.
We'll definitely be going back.
I’d drive 20 minutes to go eat here any day!!! Plus they made me my own blueberry peach pie!! Love the grits, fluffy eggs… one happy customer… This was my second time back!
Pancakes as big as a kid’s head. Great way to start my day at 6:30am. Love this place. No frills. Great food. Nice staff.
Christine was awesome and serviced us with the biggest smile on her face. She recommended a few platters, the chicken and waffles was SO good. That chicken had such a nice crisp and was well seasoned, not dry! Hard to decide if I liked it more with the gravy or syrup best since it was good either way. All the staff here worked hard as a team and all were friendly! Makes a lot of sense why this place is always busy when it's open because I always see a line out the door! And on the way out, it filled up so fast they had to start a wait-list. The service, price, and quality of food for a local joint was worth it.
This place is a gem! Marc and Heather were tremendous as well! Highly recommend the fried chicken (chicken fried chicken sandwich, chicken and waffles). The club and BLT is awesome too. Get the cakon for app.
