The pulled pork sandwiches we all got were equally great!
Plus kids meals at $1.99 6 and under?? Great for dad trying to pinch a penny knowing they aren’t going to eat it anyway.
Sophia was great and extremely helpful as well as the other staff.

Love, love, love Moe's! We've eaten there many times and EVERYTHING is delicious! The catfish is the best since we left MS and the ribs are to die for! All the veggies are great.
The staff are all very nice, especially Sophia. She is so warm and personable and greets us like we're family. Last time we had lunch there WE made a mistake ordering. My husband can't eat the red barbecue sauce. She fixed it right away and when we thanked her, she said "That's what I'm here for."
You don't get that kind of service everywhere!

First time visiting Pawleys Island and this restaurant was mentioned as one of The places to go when visiting. I must say, this is BBQ done just right! I got the pulled pork sandwich bama style and was wanting another once finished! Tangy sweet yet spicy sauce, special sides that change each day, good ol sweet tea. This place is good Carolina BBQ and is a must when visiting.
Have been to the Moe's in Atlanta for a drink and some music but never had anything to eat. When I was on the South Carolina coast I decided to pop in the one in Pawley's Island. The spot its self is great, has a large outside area with a burn pit and a extra bar. Has a large patio area with the main bar. A extremely friendly staff runs the joint at a quick pace. Now for the food, the ribs are good but not enough smokey flavor for me but the sides were really good including the grilled corn bread which is some of the best I have had. The barbecue sauce and white sauce are both equally tasty. If you are on the coast and want some good Q look no further.
Really good pork BBQ - meaty cuts. They have amazing sides that change all the time. Smoked turkey is good too for those that don't like pork. Love the outdoor and screened in Porsches for dinning. Great casual place for either lunch or dinner.

You walk up and place your order once looking at the menu. They'll "yell" your name out for you to get your order and then you can sit and enjoy. The outside seating area is screened in and provides more space to stretch out.
The white BBQ sauce is superb, different for the area. Excellent cook on the pork. Chicken isn't overdone.
I will definitely be going back.
Good meal after a full day on the water. Wasn't too busy. Quick order and food came up quickly. A little pricey but worth it in the end. Outdoor seating was nice. Half chicken and the ribs were excellent. Fall-off-the-bone #yummy. I miss the jalapeno cheddar grits.
This was a wonderful find for our family. It is a clean and fun atmosphere. The food is fantastic, great portions, and the workers are friendly. We're definitely coming back here in the near future!
We love this place, it never disappoints! We were there on Sunday, I got the pulled chicken platter, as usual, and hubby got the ribs. There was tons of chicken, easily two meals for me. The white sauce is TDF, I like mixing it with the bbq sauce. The sides are always on point, I love that they change some sides regularly. I had coleslaw and red beans and rice. We love their slaw and the beans and rice were spicy and had sausage and chicken in them, yum! The ribs had a tons of meat on them too. Hubby loves their baked beans. They also give you a big slice of cornbread. The girls out front are always super friendly and the atmosphere is casual. I really can’t say anything bad about Moe’s, give it a try!
For my first time, had a great experience. They helped me understand the ordering process and absolutely friendly. For dine in, It's nice you can order an entree and it comes with 2 side plus cornbread. Drink included! The BBQ pork was delicious, that homemade sauce is bomb! The coleslaw was definitely different than your standard mayo recipe, but I loved it! Cornbread not overly sweet. I've never liked beans but felt adventurous by ordering it.. Tasted good! Look forward to trying the other food.
After looking at the many choices for BBQ in the Myrtle Beach area, we thought we'd give Moe's a try.
When you pull up, there are a good amount of parking spots by the main entrance. The entrance itself lacks steps, making it handicapped accessible (there are even ramps in the side area for any differences in elevation). The initial doorway leads to a screened in dining area. Continue thru to the interior where you order at the counter.
There is additional seating in the climate controlled interior.
The ONE thing that sets this restaurant apart from other BBQ joints is that they allow you to order desert as a side and a drink. I had a pulled pork sandwich (4/5) with 2 sides. The potato salad (2/5) and Banana pudding (5/5).
Moe's IS dog friendly. Seating for you and your pet is located at the exterior picnic tables or high top tables under the gazebo.
It was an overall good time. The staff were friendly, the place was very clean, and the food was tasty. What more could you ask for?
Moe’s has excellent employees who genuinely enjoy what they do. Make sure you try the desserts! Especially the pudding desserts!
This is a go-to place for families!
Can’t wait to come back if I come back to Pawleys again.

Truly delicious and authentic! We live up in New England, but we ALWAYS make it a point to stop by Moe's original! The BBQ is great and we really like thier low-country cuisine like grilled cornbread, baked apples, black-eyed peas and more. REASONABLE pricing and beverages are just a dollar added to platters. The atmosphere is great too. So convenient to Huntington beach!
Great, no frills, BBQ joint. Walk up and order, food is to you in minutes. Dessert options were fantastic!! Will return.
The Fried Ribs were a real treat. Haven’t even heard of that before and I enjoyed them a lot. I liked that you could get Banana Pudding as a side also.
The dry rub wings were mediocre and the banana pudding had some flavor in it I couldn’t put my finger on but wasn’t to my liking. I would definitely recommend getting the fried ribs when you go by!
Our favorite bbq in SC! Wow! Slightly spicy red sauce, phenomenal moist St. Louis meaty ribs, jalapeños in the best cornbread I've ever had! And 1 of the sides today was pork chili! Bbq meat with a side of meat. The carnivore in me is very happy. They also have white bbq sauce like in Alabama.
