Great, fresh fish with much more topping options than most poke places. Service is prompt and efficient, which is great. The milk tea isn't overwhelmingly sweet, which I really appreciate. I the only thing I'd recommend is for the owner or manager to get some decor in that dampens sound. Even with just a few customers at the time and music at a reasonable level, all the sounds just bounce around so much it seems loud in there. I could see it getting frustratingly loud in there during busier times.
I came here and got a poke bowl and a crepe. Both were pretty good! Poke bowl topping choices are kind of limited but I appreciate that they have spicy salmon and cream cheese. I really liked the crepe, we got the Hawaiian one with mango, strawberries, and bananas. It has a ton of fruit and as you continue eating there are lots of nuts which make it crunchy and enjoyable. Would come back for the crepes.
This is definitely one of my go to spots for takeout, you can dine in but seating options are limited. Great milk teas, but limited options. The crepes are great but I usually cost me about $10+ per crepe after add ons. The bowls are pretty good as well since you customize it to your liking. I would love to give this spot 5 stars but I do notice on more than one occasion the servers tend to skimp on some of the add ons, even when your paying the extra $1 but overall it's still a great spot and portion size is pretty good once they put it all together 🙂.
Taste great, great quality. I think having a bit more of quantity for poka bowl would be perfect.
Classic Hawaiian
First time trying this place out and I was pleased! The ingredients are fresh and they have a variety of different toppings. The chef sauce was quite flavorful and I would recommend! The price for 2 scoops of protein was $15 which I felt was slightly high for the amount they give but still a good meal. Give this place a try!
My first Poke, and I am in love with this place. We had three pokes, mine was of sweet potato noodles, fresh made just for me, with cooked spicy salmon, spicy crab, cucumbers, carrots, edamame beans, pickled radish, mango, seaweed, seaweed salad, tempura flakes, and their eel sauce. ♥♥♥Delicious. It was so good, I came back to get two more pokes to take away. We also tried their Boba and passionfruit tea. Very good. To my delight, they wear masks as they serve, and highly protective so no 'germs' on food. It is now one of my favorite places ♥ I came back three months after to try their crepes with ice cream and fruit, and they were delicious. I uploaded some photos from our last visit ♥♥♥
This is my go to place! I come here almost every day after work and I always leave happy :D! The staff is beyond friendly and the food is always delicious. I’ve had their crepes and bowls and they have never ceased to impress. I usually get their regular bowl with Spicy cooked salmon and chicken. I load it with a bunch of veggies and mango and a bunch of yummy sauces! Today I got a large bowl and I’m even more impressed. Thank you guys for being my go to place :)!
Amazing crepes! If you want a really good savory or sweet crepe check this place out. We have not had the poke yet but will update review once we do. Boba tea was pretty good but did not stand out in particular to other boba places in the area.
The place also has games and unique theming inside. Staff is also really nice and can offer great suggestions.
Similar to Sus Hi Eatstation, J-Petal offers poke-style rice bowls with almost endless customization options.
For example, my custom-order bowl contained sushi rice, tuna, salmon, crab, edamame, mango, carrots, avocado, eel sauce, and spicy mayo, with a side of pickled ginger. Sprinkled with nori and tempura flakes, it overflowed with a lovely combination of sweet, spicy, crunchy, and fleshy texture, making every bite unique and savory. Best of all, the staff offer great service and put your bowl together by hand while you watch, so you can appreciate the creation process before eating your masterpiece.
With over a dozen each of sweet and savory crepes, rolled ice cream, and milk teas (green milk tea with mango popping pearls is to die for!), the only downside of eating at J-Petal is trying to choose what to order! Fortunately, this is one restaurant I'm happy to return to again and again until I've sampled everything and then settled down with my top favorites.
Don't forget to stop by the Rolled Ice Cream shop nearby for a taiyaki after enjoying a lunch or dinner at J-Petal!
Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the Tokyo Sakura and Fruit Martini crepes!
