Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Have been to Orlando many times but this is the first time we try Freddy's. We were craving a burger and this definitely hit the spot. The flavor was great and the shoe string fries with cheese were also great. Reasonably priced and the kids really enjoyed the hotdogs as well. I would compare it to steak and shake but better flavor.

“Burger doesn’t need the bacon. Outstanding on its own,” my husband texted me as he ate it. “… like Steak n’ Shake used to have.” They grind the steak and make a patty so thin when they fry it, it gets crispy around the edges. The place was clean. Kyle was the person taking the order. He was professional and answered all the questions. The fries were perfect, thinner, and didn’t need salt. Not a fan of the fudge sundae, though. He said Dairy Queen’s fudge tastes better, that Freddy’s fudge wasn’t chocolatey enough; the soft serve had no flavor, he even criticized the whipped cream, saying it tasted cheap. He threw out his sundae. But the burger will have him coming back.

My brother in law was in town a couple months ago and we got to the subject about In and Out. Last time I had In & Out was several years ago and I love their burgers. He travels alot for work and mentioned that Freddy's is very close to In & Out in taste and quality. My children wanted a burger today so we decided to try our Freddy's. The atmosphere is nice with lots of cool little fun bits of information about the history of Freddy's around the restaurant. The staff was friendly and was way to order and we got our food in a very good time. I will say...their burgers are absolutely on point delicious. I would say they are neck and neck with In & Out with taste and freshness . We ordered their classic Freddy's burgers and I ordered the California which has lettuce, tomatoes and onions. We also ordered chili fries, onion rings and a brownie custard to go. All delicious and highly recommended. Their prices are a little higher than your typical McDonald's or Wendy's but your getting better food that tastes fresh and delicious. In my opinion..it was worth it.

This place gives the Sense that it's presentation and flavor of the burgers have not changed much for years maybe even decades. Authentic is what I'm trying to say for an American burger restaurant. Taste far better than shake shack. Prices are fair , seating is good , service pace is fair as food is made to order.

Great burgers, fries, cheese curds , ice cream and more! We decided on something easy and that would satisfy everyone. We ordered one chophouse burger that has mushrooms and A1 sauce with a premium side order of chili fries. We ordered two bacon cheeseburgers, one with a premium side of cheese curds and one with just fries. We also ordered a California double cheeseburger with a premium side of onion rings as well as a 5 piece chicken strip kids meal. The burgers were very good and perfectly done, each had double patties with fresh toppings. The french fries are shoestring style and perfectly cooked. The chili cheese fries are the same fries with a good chili and nacho cheese. The cheese curds are very good and taste exactly like they should and you get a large serving of them. The burgers can be a bit messy but I’m ok with that because they do taste so good! The average price was $10 per meal which is not bad given the area and what other burger places are charging just for the burger alone! We would definitely come back here and eat again! The service is very good, super friendly and very fast.
