Puerto Rican food with some other flavors, the yellow rice or arroz de guandules the best I have tried in 25 years, only better one was from hermana Montalvo. The carne guisada, delicious, overall great food and a superb value.

Took me a while to find some good Puerto Rican food here in Orlando. There's plenty of Puerto Rican restaurants, but to find the good ones took some digging. My buddy turned me onto this place. Cafeteria style Puerto Rican food. The options are endless. Great for lunch and dinner but I hear breakfast is pretty good too. Also had some of their pastries with coffee. It was also delicious.

Food was delicious and flavorful. Clean restaurant, yummy pastries and a lot of meal options. Ferrero frappe was so good!

We need a place like this in Boston. Came here right before heading to the airport to come back to Boston. It has a great selection of food and pastries. I had the mofongo with shrimp and creole sauce. It was so good! Also had a small flan that was good as well. Prices are decent. Would definitely go back when I go to Florida.

Best Bakery in Orlando, and from all the ones I have try in the South this is Top 5 in my book. The portions are huge and the prices extremely cheap for the good quality you’re getting for food. There is always line, but they move really fast! Will be better if you have a person knocking out at the register and somebody else take out the orders. But nothing that good ole fashion wait can’t beat.

The only reason I'm not having it 5 stars, is because I didn't get to try everything else! I had no idea what I was looking for and everyone was so nice and helpful with explaining what was what and giving recommendations! The pastries were very sweet for me, and nice and flaky, and the stew I got was very good. I want to try more of the different meats and come back and try the cakes as well! It was such a good time and I felt so full driving back. 😭

Come here everytime I'm in Florida. Had to come visit Melao Bakery. Awesome food for the price. Spent $25 for two plates, a malta, and a drink. The two plates include two sides and good amount of main dish your choice. The picture above is my plate. Will be back soon!!
