The ice cream itself may not be exceptional, but you can enhance the flavor by adding toppings. I ordered a combination of vanilla and chocolate scoops with hot fudge and nut toppings in a Sovereign cup. Keep in mind they only sell two scoops, so even if you want just one, you'll still be charged for two. Overall, it's an average ice cream, but I found it enjoyable after a long walk in the park.

If you’re thinking about whether to get ice cream or not, just do it. You can order and then eat your cone in line at the Gringotts ride. There was always a line when we were there on a Saturday afternoon, but it moved fairly quickly. You have the option of getting a cone or a souvenir cup (extra cost). They have hard packed ice cream and soft serves, in addition to more elaborate concoctions. I opted for the clotted cream, which was tasty and is a good option if you don’t want something too sweet. The butterbeer tastes a little too much like root beer for me, but it’s iconic. The Earl Grey and lavender is another good option if you want something a bit more out-of-the-ordinary. Credit cards accepted. There’s no seating but you can get a good view of the dragon breathing fire at 10 minute intervals atop the bank. No samples. Service was friendly and efficient.

Lines moved well. With a limited menu and several employees to help the lines were kept reasonable. The menu is big enough that’s it’s easily readable, allowing for decisions to be made before reaching the ordering point. The ice cream quality is excellent. The waffle cones they are served in are crisp and delicious. The employees weren’t the most smiley group that’s we’ve ever encountered, but I’m sure their job is mundane and repetitive. The butterbeer ice cream is great. The clotted cream was a different flavor but still tasty. Definitely a nice break on a hot day.

Visited this shop mainly to try the Butterbeer ice cream. Slightly disappointed. It was basically a vanilla ice cream with "butterbeer" flavoured swirls only. The taste was not very strong or distinct and it could pass off as a normal vanilla ice cream. Price was not cheap, but it was expected in a theme park. Expect to queue.

Located inside of Universal's Wizarding World of Harry Potter Diagon Alley. Hands-down one of the best treats you can get in the Wizarding World. Salted Caramel Blondie is my absolute favorite and my must during every visit. You can get soft serve and hard packed ice-cream options here. Butterbeer flavor is also available in soft serve. If you're looking for a cool collectible, you can get your frozen treat in a take home sundae cup. If Butterbeer ice-cream is all you're looking for, keep in mind that the "bar" next door also serves just the Butterbeer soft serve.

Awesome little ice cream shop inside Diagon Alle. Great ice cream, wait time in the early afternoon is 5-10 minutes.

It was usually too busy for me to try anything because I didn't want to brave the line but we finally got in on the last day of our trip! The Earl Grey and Jasmine ice cream was everything I wanted. Cheap, great quality ice cream as well.

Mr. Fortescue serves up some unique, delectable ice cream- I’ll tell you what! For an American gal like myself it’s also super refreshing to see more uncommon flavors (because the ones here are more typically popular in the UK because Harry Potter takes place there, duh) such as strawberry peanut butter, earl grey and lavender, clotted cream, toffee apple and more. You can get it in a cone or a souvenir cup. Those are your options, that’s all you get. You can get the occasional topping as well but it’s at least a dollar extra per topping. Most always the line is long here because I really do think it’s the best ice cream offered in both Universal parks. They also have some options between soft serve or hard packed ice cream, but not every flavor comes in either consistency. Oh, and this is one place where you can get the treasured butter beer ice cream as well. My personal favorite I’ve tried thus far has to be the chocolate chili, it’s a spicy ice cream and it is fantastic. Super chocolate rich and you slowly start to feel a burn in the back of your throat from the chili after a few minutes. It’s awesome. I also enjoyed the toffee apple a lot, it’s pretty much a calm caramel apple. And if you love banana runts or banana lady taffy then you definitely want to try the banana ice cream. Cheers to Mr. Fortescue!

Loved this place! I’m a pass holder & go all the time, but this was my first time getting ice cream here. They have more than 10+ different flavors of ice cream and have a variety of soft serve & traditional ice cream. For about $6 you get a huge ice cream cone that was almost impossible to eat by yourself. Definitely a treat you can share. The only con is the super long wait, as the lines are usually through the door. Aside from that loved it. We got pistachio soft serve & banana/chocolate soft serve.

The chocolate fudge sundae is one of my favorite things from here! And I love the souvenir cup that comes with it! (May or may not have accrued 3 of them over my past visits lol). Although I usually get the “hard” ice cream - chocolate flavored, a friend had gotten various flavors of the soft serve and said all the flavors tasted the same and like regular vanilla soft serve. This past time, a friend got strawberry peanut butter, which sounded really good! She said it tasted overwhelmingly of peanut butter and nothing else, which makes sense since peanut butter has a pretty overpowering taste. Super cute shop!
