This place is absolutely incredible. The food is fresh and made with love. The owners are friendly, helpful and kind. The atmosphere is relaxed and tranquil. We had the Hades falafel wrap, and it was out of the world. Something for everyone on this menus, including us vegans!!! You will love this place!

Great stop for a bite to eat while exploring the island. Fresh and flavorful and an intense garlic hummus made my simple meal so much more enjoyable. It was good enough to return the next day. Give it a try if you like Mediterranean flavors.
One of the best places on the island for lunch or dinner! The patio is great the Baba Ganush is AMAZING🤤 😛😋
So delicious! I had the Crete pita with falafel and a side of lemon/basil couscous, and it was so good! The owner is so nice, and the little shopping center is like a community. You can get some exotic flavored tea next door and have your food and drinks on the patio. We will definitely go again next time we visit Ocracoke!
Breakfast and Lunch.
Breakfast was simply excellent! Tasty Southern style Grits n Eggs, toast n biscuits, meat and not.....
Lunch featured more of the Mediterranean style and we enjoyed Greek pizza and a meaty Minotaur. Daily special kabobs were super!
"Don't forget the Baklava!" Simple (not too sweet!) and very tasty.
Nice selection of beverages and very friendly service; a real jewel on Ocracoke Island!

Wonderful place! DELICIOUS FOOD: homemade pita bread I am still daydreaming about. The owner is clearly very invested in excellent customer service, and it shows.
Found this place tucked away this year and it was delicious 😋 had the lamb pita... My husband devoured it in minutes! The pitas are so fresh and so good! I highly recommend that you try if you get to Ocracoke!!
We stopped for lunch between ferry rides from Cedar Island and on the way to Hatteras and then Virginia. WOW. Everything sounded so good that we ordered twice as much food as we needed and ate it all day long during the long trip. We ordered a pizza made with local figs, a wrap that included beef shwarma, lemon thyme Greek potatoes, red pepper hummus and pita, and the Helios salad. The best hummus and pita I've ever had. We dipped the roasted potatoes in the lemon tahini dressing from the delicious feta-walnut-grape-apricot and greens salad, and omg that pizza. I was in Ocracoke for 3 short hours but I will remember the fantastic cooking from Helios Hideaway for years to come.
I ordered a Greek salad to take onto ferry heading home. It was outstanding!! Highly recommend this a s a refreshing carry out. Fresh pita side was also very good. Helios, we will return!!
Amazing fresh food, prepared to order with love. A must visit while on island, and be sure to order a personal custom fresh pizza while there. Lynn is an amazing hostess and owner with an infectious joy and love for food...
Stopped in for a quick meal with zero expectations before hopping on the ferry. Ended up having one of the best meals of my life. Can't recommend enough!
