Outdoor seating at picnic tables but you're not there for atmosphere... you're there for the food and it was as good as you could ask for... Just terrific!

It’s Not Just Any Old Taco Stand You have to make an effort to get to Ocracoke Island. You don’t just happen upon it. It’s a conscientious choice. However, on the ferry ride over folks told us to go to Eduardo’s. It’s been at least 40 years since I’ve been here and, needless to say, Eduardo’s wasn’t here. Not much of anything else was either. The menu is simple, the tacos rock, and the service was… well, I don’t know why they asked my name because when they had the food ready they didn’t bother calling our name. They pointed to some random kid who looks nothing like me (30 years younger with hair). My daughter heard the order and said, “I think that’s for us.” Good times. We took a seat and dove in. No complaints. Sure, you could go to some seafood joint but then where else can you get some really good authentic street tacos on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Sometimes you just have to roll with it.

Very solid taco experience! Some really nice selection of tacos with great flavor and excellent fresh corn tortillas that didn't fall apart like the cheap supermarket ones with the preservatives. Festive setting with the Halloween decorations. Clean tables with umbrellas for shade. Wish I could have had a beer with lunch but totally understand their choice to skip the permit. Highly recommend and will return next trip.

Love the halloween decorations! I adore Eduardos. I don't go to Ocracoke without stopping by and the fresh salsa is spicy 😋 ❤️. They close at 3:00pm, so no dinner. I have been eating seafood hot mess burritos since they were located at the grocery store. Where the seafood truck is now. The breakfast burrito is SO HUGE, I eat it for 2 mornings. Scallops, shrimp, crab, jalapeños, cheese omg it's soo good. I can't wait to be back in a week to get another one! Love you Eduardo and the lovely ladies that cook and serve the food!! PS. My son got Mexican pancakes, they were a lil burnt but I thought the Pineapple, spices, and sweetened condensed milk was a tasty treat.

Best fish tacos 🌮 they’re flavorful and big tacos. We also tried Ed’s clam Chowder (not pictured) and that was good too. We would definitely come back for a quick lunch. FYI - It’s a taco food truck with picnic tables, so completely outdoors. Also no bathrooms or sink to wash your hands.

AMAZING! Best tacos I’ve ever had. If you have allergies, they are super helpful and caring. They offer vegetarian and vegan options as well.

Eduardo's is a true gem and absolutely worth the wait in the hot sun. Take your time and really read the menu. Don't be afraid to try a few different things. The food is guaranteed to always be fresh and flavorful. Excellent food. We had overheard recommendations from several local residents, and since we love a good authentic meal plus Mexican food, we decided to give it a try. Dismiss the food truck/trailer bias if you have one, and chow down on some really good food. They have reasonable prices, they give out generous portions, and the service is fairly quick. I couldn’t have been more pleased finding this place on the main road and pick out something from a vast menu. Fresh local seafood, tacos, burritos, and whatever sounds tasty. Flavorful and delicious. I had the Cheesy Fusion Taco. Marinated jerk chicken with pineapple mango salsa, lettuce, and avocado. I also ordered grilled chicken tacos, which come in three tacos. My grilled chicken tacos came with a side of salsa, avocado, cilantro, and onions in corn tortillas. Yes, I was very hungry. Lol The ambience of the place is very calming, but due to the limited seats, it can be challenging. They are a dog friendly business.

Authentic freshly made tacos and burritos in the middle of Ocracoke island?! Are you kidding me?!?! TL;DR: Mexican tacos served in sets of three (or two for certain seafood/specialty options) or individually. We chose a set of 3 shrimp tacos, a cheesy sirloin taco, and the chips and salsa to split. Explosive bold and craveable flavors in the tacos that were rounded out nicely by the fresh chips and salsa. All for $25 plus tip! Will absolutely be coming back here when we come back to Ocracoke! Just be aware that they close pretty early. Our last full day in the Outer Banks came so quickly! Since it was so beautiful, we took the ferry from Hatteras to Ocracoke and spent the day there. When it got to be time for lunch, we spotted a tiny spot right off the main drag called Eduardo's and gave it a whirl. What a wonderful surprise and delight it turned out to be! As we walked up, we saw plenty of outdoor seating available on wooden tables with umbrellas and changed our minds on just eating our food in the car. However, also note that consumption of alcohol on the premises is prohibited so PG-rated drinks only if youre bringing your own. A water spicket and courtesy bowl to fill drinking water for those bringing their pets along was a considerate touch as well! The menu is centered around tacos and burritos but offers a plentiful variety of them to choose from, including pork, beef, steak, shrimp, seafood, and even vegetarian options! I plan on trying the tuna tacos on our next visit, since I heard they were delicious. But for this time we weren't that hungry and since my better half is allergic to tuna, we went with a set of three shrimp tacos, one cheesy steak taco, and chips and salsa. The flavors these tacos had were amazing! Fresh lime and cilantro, spicy salsa, savory meat, melty cheese--my mouth is watering just thinking about them as I write this! The shrimp and steak both packed tons of flavor and were cooked to perfection. The cheesy steak taco is something I would order over and over again and never get tired of! While we wanted to get more, we were both very satisfied splitting what we ordered. The total bill was just under $25, which is extremely reasonable considering the location and what we were getting. We left full and fueled up for the rest of our day on the island. Thank you so much for the memorable meal!

I had shrimp burrito for breakfast, it tasted so fresh and so good! Unfortunately they don’t have coffee but giving the limited selections on the island, getting breakfast here is a solid option.
