My family loves coming to Portobellos. We’ve been coming for years and lately have been celebrating several major family milestones like 70th birthday parties and 50 year anniversaries and my dad’s 75th Birthday. The food is always on point.
Great place for lunch. Big portions, many choices, and tasty to boot!
Pleasant service, calm atmosphere, (too) big portions, nice menu options, (tho, guys, it’s time to refresh the physical plastic menu files), grate taste. Cream brûlée with a little surprise.
The only minus for me was a bit loud silly Italian pop music.
Alicia was our server and she was absolutely phenomenal!! She made my mother-in-laws birthday one to remember. Her recommendations were out of this world. The calamari was amazing! Seafood Riviera was so spot on for my me and brother in law! My mom wanted a special meal not on the menu and she got it made for her. I’m glad we gave this place another shot last year we have awful rude service and I didn’t want to come back. My mother in law insisted so I gave in. She was super outgoing, was very fast, and stayed on top of refills. I manage a restaurant and her service was so immaculate that I told her I’d love to have her serve at my restaurant. She politely declined and that made me like her more because of her loyalty. We’ll be back for the seafood and the service! I wish I could give 10 stars!
10/10 ! Have been here a few times and every time they have outdone themselves! Beautiful indoor and outdoor atmosphere, delicious food and attentive staff. I had gotten the grilled swordfish steak with a chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Highly recommend for a night out or even for an event
Had gone out to dinner the night before at a different place, and got 2 tasteless sandwiches, beans and slaw for over $42, and was so disappointed I didn't want to go out again. But I had plans to meet a friend for lunch, and this is where she picked. Would not have been my choice. But... I was pleasantly surprised! They had an extensive lunch menu with prices that were reasonable for the type of food. Before our meal, we got a nice salad, very fresh. Then came the meal. The portions were large and my eggplant lasagna even came with vegetables. Not just one, but carrot, snow pea, broccoli, squash, cauliflower, and more all cooked to perfection and delicious. My friends pasta plate was very large and tasty too. We both brought food home for another meal. And all that for just over $29. I absolutely recommend lunch at Portobello's!
Fantastic food and decor. The waitresses made us feel right at home. Beautifully decorated. I will definitely be back.
Good food. The service was not acceptable, as the waitres said "we don't have any new drinks menu, because we're in the process of making new drinks, therefore, we have all the different wines as you know and the standard drinks". I silently checked on this later, after I paid my bill with a proper tip, the menu was the same and the host said nothing had changed. I rather could not believe how unfortunate the restaurant is to have a waitress like that working for them. On top of that, she was browsing around at the trees and the bulbs, instead of paying attention to our dinner menu orders. It felt like I was not worthy enough to be there.
