Umami Burger

DO NOT ORDER. My first time ordering food there, I should have believe the negative reviews. The food was HORRIBLE!!! $20 burger not worth $5 burger king. The food was delivered on time, very well package and that's it. The ingredients (lettuce, tomato, pickles were not fresh), the burger was terrible, even the bun wasn't good and frankly I feel sick. Listen to the negative reviews or save yourself the disappointment and extra dough, order somewhere else. The fries were ok, still Burger king was better. Nice packaging though!

I used to eat at umami burger near Greenwich all the time before it closed. All I can say is that it is not the umami I knew. They ask how they want the burger but they never cook it right at this joint. I have eaten here 3 times, despite me saying medium I have always gotten it well done. The truffle fries were not thin and was regular fat cut fries instead of the promised thin ones. Garbage compared to the restaurants that were once open. Definitely not worth the 14-15 dollar burger anymore. They never give you sauces unless you ask. I don’t know what people are talking about when there is service, this is a fast food joint and nobody serves you, you just collect it and go...

Went to Umami burger for the first time yesterday. And for just under $20, I had small portions, except the onion rings (I'll get to those later). The cheeseburger was slightly bigger than a White Castle slider, but it tastes good. I can order that again. Large lemonade wasn't large to me. The onion rings though were HUGE, too huge. I couldn't eat all of it, not because of its size, but the amount of grease in those rings. I was sweating grease. Despite the cheeseburger, it will be awhile before I'll go back there, because of price, size, and those greasy onion rings
