Came here with a buddy of mine. He said the food is great but pricey. I agree! And with the amount we paid, it was a very little serving. At least give some potato chips out with the sandwiches. Or how about a side of tomato soup to go with it? Great spot & quick. Just too pricey for what they're giving.

Great spot for delicious comfort food but also nice place to grab drinks and hang out. We stopped in and ended up staying a while watching the Rangers game, had the goat cheese grilled cheese and more elderflower spritz than I'd like to admit. I think we found out new spot. đŸ˜‹

The food was great! Loved the ham Mac n cheese! They even had gluten and dairy free options for those in our group that needed it! I was forgetful and left a shopping bag there and they held it for me to get the next day!

This place is fantastic, the grilled cheeses were absolutely great and GRILLED perfectly. The bread was nice and crispy while the inside was absolute melty perfection. The Mac n cheese was absolutely to die for. One of the best in the city when it comes to comfort food. The little Italy is my favorite. This place is a great option for those who want to not spend too much money on lunch or dinner. Transit is also pretty easy because the 2nd Ave F train is right outside and its one stop away from Broadway Lafayette the nearest subway hub. There’s also great bus connections too, the M15 stops across the street going downtown and in front of the place going uptown. Accessibility is 5/5 for me as well as the food.

Easily by far one of the best tomato soup you’ll find in New York and for a fair price. For only 3.50 you can get a cup and for 5.50 you can get a bowl! It’s got a nice little spice to it as well. The service and setting are a perfect combo to accommodate. Will definitely be returning here very soon.

It’s a really wonderful spot for lunch. Here’s a picture of the crispy goat with French fries - that’s goat cheese, bacon and avocado. As you may be able to see they serve it with a lot of French fries which is nice. Comes out super crispy and hot. It’s terrific and so is the spicy tomato soup. The space itself is open to the street and there’s a little bar by the register as well.

The food was amazing, and the workers were really nice. The environment inside is very nice and chill. I will definitely be coming back here all the time. Only downside is that i would have liked it if they had fried mozzarella sticks.

I have a bad habit of seeing food on instagram, talking about going for months to my bf, then finally getting it and hating it....this was not the case at Cheese Grille! Tastes as good as it looks! I got the Little Italy sandwich which was good, but my boyfriend got the crispy goat sandwich and it was great!! Next time that’s what I’ll be ordering! Anyways the place is small, but has a very cool atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Worth the trip!

Crispy goat cheese sandwich on good bread - perfect! And the service was great. So tempted to go back tonight, but it would be a long walk in the rain. I'll have to find an excuse to go back to the LES soon.

I actually saw this place on Facebook (with an accompanying video) and knew I had to try it - I was not disappointed! I got the Three Cheese (asiago, gruyere, and cheddar) and added avocado, and got tomato soup on the side for dipping. It also came out with a couple of olives on the side. The staff was super friendly. The place is a cozy size. Big screen in the middle of the dining area that was showing a football game. I also dig that it offers a variety of alcoholic beverages as well. This place definitely serves classic grilled cheese with an adult flair! (But is also great for kids - who doesn't like GRILLED CHEESE?!)
