The music is great, the bands deserve a better stage. Place is quite lame; tired and neglected.. menus and tables are sticky.. soda is flat.. food is likely frozen products.. The tenders tasted old.. the nachos were low quality, wings are meh.. curly fries were good. Got double fries on the bill when ordering one - check what you’re paying for. The ⭐️ ⭐️ are given only for the live music 🤷♀️

It was a pretty good experience. The band music was great, people were giving and it was a nice time. All until the waitress Lila decided to kick us out of the table after the other extremely nice & kind server said we could stay at our table for the next 45 minutes due to no other reservations, and without kicking out other tables except ours. I don’t think we would’ve had any problems if it weren’t for her tone. Really killed the vibe.

Unexpectedly an unforgettable night. We were strolling around Bleecker when we read the signs ‘live music’ and decided go go in for a few beers. Inside, it had one of the liveliest and upbeat vibes I have ever felt at a bar. The band was so good, playing classic songs from Walking in memphis to take it easy to complicated. A bar for all ages, such a great way to come together for the music and the ambiance. Beers were great too. If you are looking for a good time, but nothing too planned, this is the place

Authentic music pub, I loved it. My last evening in NYC before departure. Live music every day, this evening man with guitar, he made it well I guess who loves live music cannot make mistake visiting this bar.

One of the best places to watch rugby in NYC. Red Lion is an institution. I've been going to this pub for 15+ years for rugby and football. Great atmosphere, excellent bar staff and a proper Irish Breakfast. Every so often I'll even stay around for some music and never been disappointed.

DO NOT BUY SHOTS AT THIS BAR THEY ARE WATERED DOWN! Spent $100 on shots here last weekend and didn't get drunk. I was so mad and was talking to people around town that said they water down shots so people don't get too drunk. Waste of money and my time and because of this I and my friends will be taking our business to places that dont scam their customers! On the bright side, if you show up already drunk and don't waste your money on their alcohol, you will have a decent time!

The Red Lion is back as the amazing soccer bar they once were! GREAT food and drinks options...ask for the girl's breakfast...also chips & guac, fish & chips, and 'I can't believe it's not burger' are all delicious...Lovely personable and attentive staff...Gavin, Katie, Clodagh, Melissa, Conor, Cait, Dave...to name just a few...and THE BEST place for live music in the Village!

Has neighborhood feel. Great spot for hearing music performed live. Went Thursday night to hear Ragtag! Those guys rock the music by the greats like Hendrix and their own original compositions. Stayed to hear some of the groups and was also blown away by The Lizard Kings. Yeah - cover band - Did the Doors proud. Excellent. The guys performing Bob Marley's classics were fantastic as well. Comfortable joint to hang out in. Oh yeah, food looked and smelled delicious. Next time, I'll wait to grab a bite there.

Went there Friday night . We sat an waited to be acknowledged after one waitress walked past us at least 4 times without a word my wife had to get up and find a waitress !!! The food was amazing the drinks were awesome and the band No Complaints were great !!!!

Not a fan. It popped up as a "sports bar". Was there to watch NFC championship game... the band started to setup at halftime. The people we not very accommodating and the service was not good.
