Solid bar and restaurant. They tend to have great stuff on tap and routinely hold brewery events, during which they often put out free munchies. The Stag’s Head also occasionally offers great deals on beers. I once got a Dogfish Head Worldwide Stout for $4.00! In 2010! I haven’t ordered food before but there seems to be some good things on the menu.

The Stag's Head is a New York City bar situated on E. 51st Street in Manhattan. It has a good selection of craft beers and food. I had a couple of beers and a very good plate of nachos. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Stag's Head did seem a little pricey compared to other similar places I had visited.

I give this artisanal beer bar place 5 stars because the service was good, the food server and receptionist were polite and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, all of the popular beers we ordered were out of stock. But the beers we finally ordered tasted good. Hence, the rating.

Came here for a Sunday Brunch option. It’s relatively priced food/ drink and surprisingly good. Only problem is I think the heat wasn’t working all the tables had a space heater, cold but after a liquid jacket you feel fine.

Bottomless mimosas were on point- carafes at your table is so convenient. Food is good, had the burger but subbed for impossible burger. Perfectly cooked! Emmy (or Demi?) was awesome! Had a great time.

Strong beer options in a warm, wood-lined pub. It’s partly recessed below street level, so there’s not a lot of natural light but they’ve made it work with the overall theme of the place. Great staff who knew a fair amount about the beer options and were all friendly and approachable, plus some really good options during happy hour (which runs to 7pm).

Great place to drop in and grab a drinks and a bite with friends. They have a great drink selection, happy hour, staple bar fare, and great service. They also have plenty of TV screens if you are a sports

Nice little cozy afterwork spot. I had a great time there and I enjoyed my solo time. A bit noisy, hard to talk over their music but it wasn't enough for them to lose a star. Staff is especially nice too!

Visited here every time we have come to New York from the UK and is always excellent. Chilli and beer - can't beat it!!! Serving staff are brilliant and it is always a great atmosphere. Fab range of beers and when we visited in February, one of the girls (can't remember her name....dohh!! but very friendly) made home made lemonade for my wife as she wasn't well. Great place - well worth a visit - looking forward to coming back in February 2019!!!

Great place, excellent food, huge selection of beer, and very nice and friendly staff - I wish I had discovered it earlier!

Fantastic pub grub. The Cuban cigar roll-ups were delish, the lamb and beef were excellent, but the ribs - those ribs fall off of the bone and are tender as a mother's love. They're special and not to be missed. Next time, I'll get the chorizo tacos, too. Fun atmosphere and a lively crowd!

Our son from Seattle was in New York for a business trip and we were able to travel from PA to have lunch with him . We randomly picked your bar/restaurant when we were walking past it. We were not disappointed! The food was awesome ( generous portions and the lunch specials were amazing, very reasonably priced) as were the beers and our waiter ( I didn't catch his name) was awesome as well so friendly and attentive. It was such relaxing atmosphere and we were able to sit for awhile after we finished our meal and just talk with our son and no one tried to rush us. I would definitely recommend it to anyone .

Great selection of 16 rotating american craft beers on tap. They do special nights where they'll showcase 6-8 beers from one brewer and so if you come in the few days after that you may encounter 6-8 beers from a single brewery, but otherwise it is a great mix. The staff are super friendly and can help beer novices and experts navigate the offerings on tap as well as the pretty deep bottle/can list. I really like it as a cozy place to meet a friend after work or to take a date for weekend brunch, but dislike it on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 8-11 because it can get a little too packed. In terms of food it is pub grub done well, a sort of southern-inspired gastropub fair with a really solid burger, pulled pork sandwich, and grilled chicken panini. I wouldn't go here if you don't like beer or are looking for mostly wines and cocktails.

Great beer selection. I got the French Dip. It was yummy

Good beer selection, good food. But the music was way too loud.
