I almost NEVER deduct stars based on service, but I have no choice. I love the food and the atmosphere here, but it’s almost impossible to order because the waitstaff is completely inattentive. I’ve been here three times over the course of about six months hoping it will get better, but it doesn’t. I’m talking 20+ minutes before being approached for an order, and then maybe 30+ minutes until the second visit. Forget about ordering a second drink unless you want to get up and walk around the place searching for your server. I haven’t even been there on a crowded night.
So annoying, and just such a shame. Otherwise a great spot.
Owners: I live in the neighborhood and I want to give you money. Please fix this!!

The place is beautiful, comfortable and I had really good time with friends there. The decoration has something really original and made me feel as I was at an authentic Latin America bar. The drinks are also great . About the food: it is not that fantastic and the menu doesn't have options enough, besides that it is filled practically only with Mexican food. The day I was there they also were out of some beers. The price is expensive.

I had high hopes for Oficina Latina when I entered because the decor was great, and the laid back vibe of the restaurant was very inviting. Unfortunately, the wait staff was too laid back, and practically ignored our table. We weren't the only patrons that noticed this. The group seated next to us got so tired of waiting for the server to return, that they left. Another table behind us was also complaining among themselves. It wasn't crowded when we were there, but maybe our server was having a bad day - it happens. Beyond that, there was also an "issue" - our server's word - in the kitchen that caused one of our meals to be brought out, nearly 15 minutes before the other two meals. That's a huge pet peeve of mine, especially since I was the one with a plate in front of me, and my two friends had nothing, but kept telling me to start without them. No apology was given for this sloppy service. On the positive side, once we all had our food - it was delicious.
