Love the quinoa bread they use in the banh mi! I got the cauliflower one and it was delicious, filling, and not too heavy.

Solid sandwich! I love that they're not shy with the carrots. I'm also not a fan of mayo so it was awesome that they offer a chili yogurt option. Location is fun - we took our sandwiches over to The Highline to eat during the golden hour. I definitely recommend the experience to anyone visiting from out of town like we are.

i thought i liked banh mi until i tried this place

A friend recommended this to us so we made sure to try it when we were at Chelsea Market.
We love Asian food in general and especially love Banh Mi. They have quite a few options with unique meats and even veggie/vegan options.
We went with the ginger barbeque brisket banh mi and it was amazing. It was one of the best (if not the best) banh mis I've ever had. The meat was perfect and everything about it was delicious.
There's no seating here, so you can get your food to go and find a seat elsewhere at the market.
We tried several other places at Chelsea Market and this was by far our favorite. I recommend checking it out!

Fast service is one of its benefits. The food was fresh and good. Also, the price was reasonable.

I went to Chelsea market on a Sunday to show my mom that was visiting. I ordered on ritual while my mom ordered somewhere else. I expected to take at least 10 minutes for my good to be ready. The food was ready by the time we made our way over to pick up (a couple minutes). The food was delicious. I got the Five Spice Pork Belly sandwich (quinoa) and a side of grilled seasonal veggies. It was mouth watering good.

Food is great but apparently they can’t cut the sandwich in half... sounds a little ridiculous considering they have to slice the bread to actually make the sandwich đŸ™„. The girls explanation made zero sense as well.

Bruh. How did anyone rate this one star. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I would give it 6/5 stars if I could. So different to any other sandwich I've ever had. They taste so so good. Pretty filling. Super fresh. Grabbing sandwiches to go and then strolling the High Line with your out of this world delicious sandwich and your beautiful 6'8 asian friend is honestly so nice.

I eat here almost every time I'm in NYC for work. The ginger bbq brisket is divine, though I've also been really loving the pork belly rice bowl lately. There's a line during the lunch hour - a testament to how good it is - but they move through the line super fast.

I had the best pulled pork sandwich in my life! Num pang in Chelsea market did a great job!!!

Good food and cool vibes. 5* to the Coconut Tiger Shrimp!!

Delicious menu and cool vibes... The music is on point & that chill/urban/grafitti decor keep it looking fresh. My fav is the Spicy Organic Tofu, and the Coconut Tiger Shrimp.

The flavor balances are out of this world!!! And to create the original taste within all the sandwhich with the pickled carrots, cilantro, cucumbers and chili mayo was brilliant and the bread is to die for! I dont think any modifications should be made anyways cause people need to enjoy the full experience, I think there should be more stores so more people can know about it.

The food tasted awesome. But the "no substitutions" policy is ridiculous. As a couple of foodies, we ordered 6 sandwiches and asked to have them cut each in half. No. We wanted to try as many sandwiches as possible and ended up breaking 6-7 knifes. Why not cut sandwiches? If not, at east provide a knife that will work.

Doesn't deserve a star at all.
Rude staff and apparently their "no substitution" policy means going out of their way to add something you specifically tell them you don't want (like a spoon of cilantro to garnish your soup with.)
Why defiantly add something that a customer does not want??
Oh and don't dare order off their paper menus. They don't serve most of the food that's printed on it.
I've never been so upset in my life. Will NEVER return back!!
Hope your "no substitution" policy and that extra spoon of unwanted cilantro was worth it... Because you just lost a customer.

This place would be my death row meal

The BEST sandwich I've ever had! Truly!!!

Had the pleasure of going to Chelsea Market for the first time and got to try Num Pang. Overall I was pleased. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and was impressed by the flavor.<br/>I was disappointed with a few things. They will not let you modify your sandwich, there is very little meat on the sandwich and the prices are high.

While the original location of Num Pang Sandwich Shop dishes out excellent sandwiches, this location at the Chelsea Market sadly does not. Twice I ate sandwiches here and both times the flavor was off. Perhaps the person preparing the food was not fully trained or maybe the ingredients weren't fresh? Considering that these sandwiches are quite expenses, this was not easy to digest. I am not returning to this location.

Located inside the popular Chelsea Market, this place serves the most delicious Vietnamese rolls. I had the pulled pork variation. Affordable food & quick service, just wish there was more seating so I could sit down and enjoy my food.

Great sandwiches; very spicy slaw. Num Pang typically has a long line (though quick moving), and I see now why: their sandwiches are delicious. The shrimp sandwich I had was mild; the shrimp were perfectly cooked and the bread was nice and crunchy. I also ordered the Cambodian slaw which ended up too spicy for my liking, but I imagine would be popular with people who enjoy spicy foods. My colleague had one of the meat sandwiches and said it was fantastic.
