Amazing.
If you can get table by the stage however it’s not needed ! This choirs voice will lift you wherever you’re sat in the room.
The food was very tasty too and healthy. Good fried chicken and mac n cheese btw.
It’s a buffet style food and desert with a optional bar menu. Price includes food and performance.
Amazing band too, guy in the piano is excellent.
Was a very nice visit and recommend for anyone visiting.
Finding this place at first was a bit challenging but, it’s 30 seconds from Starbucks which is on the corner. You have to walk inside the RED ROOSTER bar/ kitchen and head downstairs

This was my first time attending the Gospel Brunch at Ginny’s. It’s a nice space in the lower level of The Red Rooster, the famed restaurant on Lexington Ave. Pros:
1) Attentive Staff, my water was constantly refilled throughout the show
2) Adequate and roomy seating
3) Performers were amazing and engaging
4) Buffet had a smorgasbord of selections (the pork bacon was the best I’ve ever had and the beef brisket was a close second)
5) Music level was appropriate for the space
6) Clean bathrooms
Cons:
1) No paper towels to dry our hands in the bathroom
2) The food was hit or miss. The shrimp in the gumbo were mushy (obviously frozen and over cooked and not fresh shrimp). The waffles almost gave me diabetes! Not only was the batter sweet but the butter used as a topping was sugar butter and it was sprinkled with confectioners sugar and fruit!
The pineapple cake was the same sugary consistency. Between those things I just didn’t enjoy my meal as much as I expected.
3) The Performance: Being a black Christian woman of faith I enjoy a good gospel show as much as any BUT toward the end the show felt minstrel. I say this because of the guise of the Holy Spirit the singers pretended to be under as they proceeded to shout (black colloquialism for rhythmic steps and verbal praise when taken over by the Holy Spirit) during a song at the end of the show. Tourist don’t need to see us clowning. Sing your songs, do your secular dances and earn your coins without making a mockery of the faith.

Wonderful food. Was there for Thanksgiving and it was a really great buffet. The salmon was sublime. Wonderful fried turkey. Great sides too. Friendly. Good jazz in the background, but not overpowering if you wish to carry on a conversation, especially if sit in the back. Only let down was some of the pastries for dessert. Some were good. Nothing stood out and the chocolate chip cookies were a complete disappointment.

Great energy and atmosphere. Food from Red Rooster above is beyond amazing. Hudson Horns was a great band.

Went to see Endea Owens and The Cookout. Great music and delicious from one of my favorite chefs, Marcus Samuelsson. This is definitely a spot to hit!

We spent Christmas at the red rooster , a bar downstairs Ginny’s Supper club. One of the best experience at NYC , the food was amazing and very good price , but the music, wooow, we enjoy every single second of it, the group was amazing, the vibe and the service ! I’m glad we found it !!!! Great place!
