Our experience started off slow as we needed to
ask the waiter for some menus and there was some slight miscommunication in our order. However, once food came, we noticed the high quality italian food, well prepared and delicious.
The portion is crazy (in a good way if you eat a lot?), the flavor's not the best and to be honest it's overpriced. Besides, you don't get a lot of sunlight because of the setting of the restaurant, but the servers are super polite and attentive! That alone made my experience much better.
This is a gem. The food is fresh and excellent and the staff is always gracious. We go as often as we're able!
This wonderful neighborhood restaurant is right around the corner from The Met and Guggenheim. Our lunch was lovely, with salads and seafood appetizers and then fresh pasta choices for the main course. The sauces were imaginative and full of flavor. The staff was very friendly and professional. We will be back with each trip to the museums.
Had lunch after a Met visit. Everything we had was delicious. Pastas, veal, asparagus app, all beautifully presented and flavorful. Our waiter was very gracious and gave us travel tips in Italy (one of us is planning a trip in the fall). Prix fixe lunch is a bargain. Wonderful, would highly recommend.
Watch out for those truffles... !!!
This place is five stars plus one, however, I put four because my last time there, being unaware of how expensive truffles are, we ordered two dinners that were 145.$$$$ each!!! The item was one of the specials presented by the waiter who neglected to mention the price. About 100.$$ a plate more than anything else on the menu. My bad for being ignorant of what these kinds of dishes are worth but I think the staff has some responsibility to make some mention of this.
Had trouble finding a decent place to grab lunch before visiting the Metropolitan museum. Came across this place just a block or so away, maybe a 5 minute walk. Glad I did. Not only convenient, great food, good service. $25 PF lunch menu was a bargain.
I have not been back to the city since the start of the pandemic. This would be one of my first dinners. The food, the quiet and the absolute charm of the staff always calls me back. Please reopen and if not soon, just reopen sometime
Cozy, charming restaurant with great food. We eat here often and never have been disappointed. It is a wonderful neighborhood eatery frequented by locals. Delicious pastas and main courses, excellent service.
Beautiful restaurant with an "old school" feel. Wonderful menu, excellent dishes that are well presented by a professional wait staff. Romantic, quiet and enjoyable. Great date spot
