Great place with great drinks and food! My friend and I had the spaghetti carbonara which was wonderful! And some aperol spritz that reminded me a lot from Italy. It’s is a very cozy and quiet place, a hidden gem for sure, I would definitely go back!

We had a birthday party there for 8 ppl. Staff was pretty nice and friendly. At the end of celebration they brought to our table a spacial birthday dessert and sang a song with the whole servers team. My organic Salmon ($34) was yummy 8/10 and risotto ($28) was incredibly good(the green one on the photo). They have a good interior with 4 different space zones. Magical atmosphere flavored with light music and quiet customers around. Note: everywhere was clean and cozy. Average price: Be good to pay about 50$ for a main dish and a glass of wine. The only one thing why I wouldn't give them 5 - servers didn't pay attention to our orders. That's why they missed two cups of tea and one dessert in our order. Unpleasant. This place will match with a romantic date or business meeting.

Authentic homemade Italian cuisine carried out by the spirit from Florence. Situated in a beautiful townhouse setting, it is a neighborhood gem when you need a perfect cozy night with friends and family!

Amazing experience, the food is fantastic. I have worked with chef Gilbert before and I can tell he is one of the best chefs I've ever met. Caffe dei Fiori is a must try in NYC.

An exceptional meal with big portions, delicious food and great waiters! Thank you Federico and Roman for such a great dinner experience! The burrata and prosciutto is a must. Best Carbonara I’ve had, and the chicken is a healthy lovely dish. The chocolate lava cakes are delicious. Cant wait to go back to this place, I highly recommend for an UES staple.

I hosted a bridal shower here this past week-end and everything about it was perfect. The restaurant is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff pleasant and accommodating in every possible way. The manager was always quick to respond to my emails and attentive to all the details that go into planning a party. I would recommend this restaurant without any hesitation.

This is my favorite New York City restaurant! The food is incredibly delicious. The staff couldn’t be more professional. There is a lovely outside terrace in the rear of the beautiful townhouse . I can hardly wait for Caffe Dei Fiori to reopen..

An upscale restaurant without any of the snobbiness or highbrow attitude that you might expect if you show up wearing a t-shirt and shorts, which we did. The staff was beyond kind and respectable to us and all of the customers around us, going so far as to shut the doors and turn on the air conditioning when one woman mentioned that she was warm.
There are a ton of places around that charge high end prices, slap white tablecloths on, and make fancy sounding food that does not produce a quality experience, but this place is not one of them. There are a ton of places that charge you the cost of the suit you're wearing and give you two bites worth of food, but this place is not one of them. This place was delicious and fulfilling all around.
The extensive wine selection makes it apparent that you must order a glass. The drink menu is practically a book and an entire wall is dedicated to storing and serving wines. They take even the simplest task of giving you a bowl of bread to the next level. A waiter came over with a selection of breads for us to try and was even helpful with recommendations. The food selection is quite extensive as well, which isn't always the case at a place with such excellent food. And the food was excellent. I was introduced to new combinations of flavors in every dish we tried.
The proximity to Central Park is also nice. We went from a nice stroll through the park to walking right over to the restaurant without skipping a beat. At the end of the meal we were surprised with cookies and chocolates on the house. A truly caring establishment that must win the heart of all of their customers.

We were originally a bit worried because there weren’t many people in the restaurant, but ended up going for dinner. We usually go to Bella Blu, but tried different and were SO HAPPY we did! The food was amazing (ravioli, carbonara, halibut) and the wine was also excellent. only potential drawback in my mind would depend on whether you are looking for a little more rowdy an atmosphere. This is the spot for a chill atmosphere, and really good food

I don't know even where to begin. First, the staff here couldn't be nicer and more welcoming. Check.
Second, the drinks here are real and proper drinks better than most restaurants in NYC. Check.
The food.....well come and taste for yourself. But you won't find any better Italian food this side of the Atlantic. Check.
This restaurant is destined to become an UES institution. I know I'm going back....and often. Bravo!!!!

This is a pricey place, thus it should be perfect. The service was terrible. The first waiter I had truthfully could not even say the specials, he said we have cauliflower soup and dover sole, without saying one was an appetizer and the other an entree, I actually thought the dover sole was in the soup. I went there to have the octopus entree which was on the menu that I had just looked at the day before. Most restaurants of this caliper should be able to prepare almost anything, especially something that was just on the menu and they still had octopus in an appetizer. The waiter acted like he was totally brain dead and he had no idea what I was talking about. I said I need a new waiter which I rarely have done but this guy acted as if he could have cared less about anything. My new waiter was a guy who appeared to be a manager and he was not much better. He said they just took the octopus off the menu the day before. I told him that I wanted hard crusted Italian bread with my appetizer and he kept saying to me that they had multigrain bread which I don't think is Italian and I did not ask for that. He should have simply said to me, no problem. The bread I got was crusty but sliced one quarter of an inch thick, a total disservice to Italian bread and something you would get at a diner in skimpyness.

I sat outside in the small rear porch where there was a two year old who was totally out of control, going to each table taking dishes and wine glasses off the tables and who was a total distraction to all. The manager should have said to the parents that the child had to be kept at their table and quieted down, in fact a two year old should not be brought by responsible parents to a restaurant of this caliper. The child had multiple temper tantrums and was allowed to make the whole expensive meal into a stress ridden disaster.

The food was quite ordinary and to me overpriced for what I had. As an appetizer I had a mozzarella ball that was suppose to have truffle inside. I saw no black pieces inside and it had no taste of truffle, it was just okay. My entree was nothing great either with an over thick homemade noodle with some tiny pieces of prosciutto and some peas. Again nothing spectacular or unusual. Perhaps the full distraction of the child made everything worse but that should have been much better controlled by the staff, but what do you do expect when staff can't even communicate their specials and showed absolutely no enthusiasm for what they were doing. The owner should fire them all and replace them with waiters who are knowledgeable and enthused about their kitchen's food and wanting to please from beginning to end.

Manhattan’s Upper East Side is known for expensive shopping, elegant brownstones and impeccable dining. Caffé Dei Fiori fits right in among its peers, serving fresh, house-made Italian cuisine in a small, but chic space in the 70s. With two floors, and prime viewing of bustling Lexington Avenue, the space is rather intimate, and decorated with bright and colorful pieces that you’ll want to take home with you. In warmer months, a backyard patio will give you further incentive to head uptown and try out this spot.

To read the full review, head to the blog!

Food is delicious, lovely italian restaurant in Manhattan, very elegant! I am a huge fan of Cappellacci filled with Burrata, Cheese, Radicchio, Pesto, Shrimps and Pinenuts! And the desserts are just PERFECT! I definetely recommend this place!!

Great New UES Italian. I love this restaurant! It is elegant and quaint, with the attentive (but not obsequious) service of a much more formal establishment. The food is excellent and the decor is smart, with interesting paintings and gracious owners. Also: it is not loud! Thank you for a restaurant that doesn't tax your ears or your voice, but instead pleasures the palate.

Elegant but pricey. A fine addition to the small list of wonderful Italian restaurants here in the City. The dishes are interesting, and well prepared. The ambience is low-keyed, but very elegant. The place is quiet and well lit; it offers an increasingly rare opportunity to enjoy a quiet meal with a friend, and to hear each other talk. But, the prices are a bit exaggerated! So if you fancy a fine meal, in elegant surroundings, be prepared to open your wallet!
