In the busy west village with most other well known places booked out, stumbled upon this cute little restaurant serving primarily a plant based menu. And wow what a great surprise - beautiful aesthetics, simple classy and healthy menu. Fresh juice and detox drinks were a hit in our group. Their pea hummus is a must try. All the dishes were really good except the waffles. The cream and the strawberry compote just didn’t go along well. Butchers bowl, best egg sandwich, and crab cake sandwich were well enjoyed by the group. I would highly recommend.

Great spot for a laid back brunch! Healthy food, and a good amount of options. Service was quite fast too. Nice atmosphere and decor.
Was a bit disappointed with the bread plate we got as a starter. Pastries were brought out cold and dry, and when we asked to take them away the jam and butter was just dumped on top of them so that it smeared all over the to go box and the pastries.

Really enjoyed The Butcher's daughter. The food was pretty good. Wasn't a fan of the bacon strips. Would never get those again. They literally look like fruit leather but tasted very bland. The waffle was a little chewy but I guess that's fine. Was not amazed by the scone. It was very dry and did not taste like anything. Was very disappointed as it was to have herbs and spinach in it if I remember correctly but tasted nothing like it's contents. The salad that came on the side of one of the dishes was overly sour. Service was lacking as we were barely looked at upon arrival and kinda dismissed to an open table. The seating was nice out on the sidewalk. The seats are very close together so close that you can bump into other people if you are paying attention. Besides that the atmosphere was very nice and calm. Having a seat with a view of the inside of the restaurant was pleasing as the inside has many plants and the vibe is very calm inside.

Great vegan restaurant in Manhattan. My husband is a big cheese fan and we ordered the cheese platter for an appitizer and he loved it. We also ordered the pea hummus for an appetizer. It was ok..
For our mains we ordered the pizza and butchers burger + potato wedges. The wedges were a little undercooked and could have been baked for longer.
For drinks we had the alcoholic Kombucha...it wasn't good at all, not much flavour.
Service was great as was the vibe of the restaurant, though when we sat inside I got bitten by a mosquito. They also cater to GF dietary requirements

It's a really good place for vegan food. I loved their mocktails and elixir shots. Their burger was really good but the patty was falling apart and perhaps didn't bind well together. Really good service and we love their presentation.

Couldn’t book the day before online so tried walking in and got a table outside which was a little chilly bit we were hungry! Food and service was all lovely.. love loved the juice taster! Only downside was a massive queue for the bathroom.. only 1 bathroom in the place and meant there was a long line taking up a lot of the inside!

Really great experience! Menu was on-point, and everything was so fresh and delicious. Particularly enjoyed their mocktail, very refreshing, and not too sweet. Was surprised to see that you can make the avocado toast into a Benedict, and they had real eggs (although that was an add-on), but otherwise the menu was completely vegan. Absolutely loved the pea hummus and the roasted mushrooms & asparagus. Great vibe, friendly staff, great location.

We really enjoyed the food, particularly the kale salad and the mushroom and asparagus appetizer. The pad Thai was good but found it to come with too little tofu and seasoning was nothing special, maybe leave that for a Thai place.

I love this place. I reckon this neighborhood is busy and all places are full all the time but I’m always bound to get a good seat at the butcher’s daughter.
The ambiance is great, all in light tones and they have great salads and bowls. Also all the time I’m there I have Damien Rice’s The Blower’s Daughter on repeat in my head with the appropriate adaptations, which makes me chuckle inside.

The food here was amazing! Would definitely recommend. I had the avocado toast and it delicious. Only thing is it’s a tiny place so probably easiest to come not as a large group.

Great brunch spot. Love the cozy yet bright ambiance. They have a wide selection of brunch menus, mostly vegan and vegetarian but they also have some good egg options. They also have a large drink menu (coffee, teas, and alcohol). I love their smoothies. The service is efficient and friendly. Definitely worth the hype.

I recently visited a charming café in the West Village for Saturday breakfast. The mango lassi was a refreshing tropical delight, and the cold press juices were also enjoyable. Our table indulged in a variety of dishes, including the classic avocado toast with poached egg, the hearty country side breakfast, a delectable egg sandwich, a tasty frittata, a satisfying butcher's bowl, and a scrumptious burger. To top it off, we savored a delightful slice of banana bread for dessert.

Loved it all! There are amazing decor an the music upbeat. Staff was friendly and the space was clean with a beautiful open kitchen. The only downside is that no electrical outlets are readily available and very cold within the indoor seating.

Had breakfast here last week. Breakfast was alright, not the best I ever had. What I am really pissed about is the fact that they changed the amount on the receipt regarding their tip! I already gave them a tip and they even gave themselves 10 dollars more by changing the amount!!!!! This is not oke and I would not recommend you to go here.

I love coming to The Butcher's Daughter West Village! With their full liquor license you can add a shot to any of their signature juices. Try the spicy kale Caesar salad with chicken and the Juan in a Million cocktail. � will be back soon!

Tasty vegan food in an incredible location. Although I'm not vegan I loved the spinach and artichoke dip with a side of roasted cauliflower. Wine was decent as well but the only issue is that there is no air conditioning! Would love to come back in the spring or late fall!
