A nondescript hidden gem in Hell's Kitchen (from the street). The restaurant is large and comfortable. Not too loud, can choose the bar area or traditional dining. Affordable and good bar fare, plus decent entrees and a few signature Irish dishes. Great management and staff. Has been a consistent spot in my 7+ years in NYC.

One of my favorite places in the city! The bartenders are always pleasant and as a regular, they remember my favorites from the menu. They are very attentive to one and all. That being said, they have this delightful shrimp risotto. Yummmmmm!! I highly recommend this place for newcomers and locals.
Lovely bar with friendly staff. Food was excellent and reasonably priced too 😀 We have eaten here every night of our stay. The steak butty and Nachos are amazing. This is what we have eaten every night. The staff are lovely and attentive. Would definitely recommend a visit xx
2nd time in NYC and have enjoyed stopping in the Gossip bar both times. The waitstaff is friendly and every menu item i have tried is delicious. Check them out if you are in NYC!
I've been three times now. Great spot in Hell's kitchen with a huge whiskey selection, delicious food and amazing staff. Had the avo toast, which was amazing. Lizzie is great, too!
My husband and I needed a quick and fast service early dinner before a show on Friday. We found the Gossip which is only a block from the theater. We had a pleasant surprise. My husband always checks out fish & chips at every city we visit. Well well well, the fish & chips were outstanding. He told me we need to come back here again to have a proper dinner👏👏👏. The service was excellent and speedy. We would highly recommend the Gossip to anyone.
We enjoyed a great Christmas lunch at Gossip Restaurant. Good quality food, we enjoyed our lunch. We were able to order other menu items for our children that better suited them. Nice space in the restaurant. Recommended.
This place has surprisingly good food. I went in the other day meeting a few friends just for a quick get together. I wasn't in the mood to drink but I was hungry and was ordered dinner and an appetizer. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only were the portions worth the price they were both very delicious. I started with the buffalo chicken mac and cheese. This dish could have been a stand alone entree. It is big enough its tasty and very satisfying. However, i did save enough room for the rigatoni. It was absolutely delicious! It was creamy, cheesy, savoury and sized just right. Im a big fan of their pasta dishes this I am sure of. I am going to have to come back and review the burgers and meat dishes but so far this place has proved to me that they can put out a very good quality dish. Plan on coming back.
Went there for dinner. The Pub looked nice and it was somewhat full. Our server was certainly overwhelmed. We had to order several drinks twice before we got them and the service was really slow. The food however was good.
I am somewhere in between 3 and 4 stars. I hope that the service might be better in general and therefore give the 4.
Just visited Gossip for Thanksgiving dinner.
They provide a fixed menu for $39.95 on Thanksgiving.
We were welcomed as we walked in and shown a couple of options within the bar/restaurant to be seated. We chose to sit near the back where it has been decorated nicely for Christmas.
Our drinks orders were quickly taken followed by our options for the food. We both chose shrimp cocktail, turkey dinner and apple pie with ice cream.
The place wasn't full but it was fairly busy with some large groups having dinner also, yet the food came out quickly.
We were really happy with all 3 courses which were all perfectly presented and tasted great.
Great bar and good food. Service was top. Can only recommend the place.
French onion soup was 1 of the best I've ever had. Steak sandwich was also delicious!
