Authentic food to say the least! I enjoyed the 24hr Slow Cooked Bacon & a Shepards Pie! It was super delicious! The have gery good coffee too. I went in just as the packed dining area was clearing out, the patrons were going to the theater next door. Shona was the bartender & she was a sweet girl who on the ball & attentive to her patrons at the bar. The decor was cool & the ambiance relaxing.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Garvey's Irish Bar, largely thanks to the exceptional service provided by their bartender Ana Maria. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and made to feel right at home.
The bartender's knowledge of drinks was impressive, and they went above and beyond to recommend and craft the perfect cocktail for my taste. Her attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out.
What impressed me the most was her friendly and engaging personality. She is not only served drinks but also created a fantastic atmosphere.
I can confidently say that the bartender at Garvey's Irish Bar is a true asset to your establishment. Her exceptional service and personality made my visit memorable, and I can't wait to return for another delightful experience. Cheers to a top-notch bartender and a fantastic bar!

Garvey's is legit! We recently took a group to NYC and every night after our group settled in their rooms, the company staff would go grab a drink at the pub next to our hotel, Garvey's. Alan (or Allen) took care of us the whole week! He was a blast and the service from him and the rest of the staff was excellent! The drinks are great and the food is fantastic. During the week, I had their Shepard's pie (PERFECTION), the 24hr slow cooked bacon (TO DIE FOR), and their fish tacos and sweet potato fries (AMAZING)! I will be back, you can count on it!

Just stumbled by and stopped for breakfast. Very nice and well prepared breakfast menu. Comfortable and authentic atmosphere. Our waiter was prompt and personable. Dinner menu looked very good as well. Will definitely return - is a good, casual place for dinner before a show.

Had one of the Best shepherds pies ever here. Drinks were great too and the decor and atmosphere were on point. Anna took care of us and was so friendly and responsive which can be hard to find these days. We will definitely be back!

My sister and I were staying at a hotel in the area and we ran into Garvey’s. We came in for some drinks and food and we absolutely enjoyed! The food was amazing and the drinks were spectacular! We couldn’t have been more glad to find this place. On top of it, the staff were so friendly and kind and actually cared about making us enjoy our time at the restaurant. When I come back to New York this is definitely somewhere I look forward to coming back to!

Visited Garveys several times during my stay in New York. I was given a flier by a hostess in the area, which entitled me to 10% off my cheque because I had a Broadway ticket. Everything was excellent. Very reasonably priced given the location and very good quality of service, food and drink. We will definitely be back on our next trip to new york!

Visited Garveys Irish bar a couple times during my trip to NYC. Their food and service from the staff is brilliant. I loved the Irish vibes from the bar with majority staff Irish too. Special shout-out to bar man Michael who was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Would definitely come back if I’m ever in New York in the future and would recommend to anyone visiting.

What an awesome place the owner was gracious and friendly. Johnnie was our waiter he was great and a funny guy! Food was great and came out piping hot! You have to visit this place with great food and drinks!

Awesome service. Super friendly staff. Local small town vibes in the heart of Midtown! Great for NYC locals and tourists alike! I went in by myself for a drink after work, and it was lovely to chat with the bartenders. It wasn’t too busy when I went, since I went a little later after all the Broadway shows had started, so it had cleared out. But I will definitely be back for pre show drinks next time!! They had a 10% discount if you bring a Bway ticket or playbill too :)

Great new place in Time Square! Took five teenage boys and they devoured their food, but left full for sure. Fantastic alternative to all the huge chain restaurants in the area. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Place was very clean. Food and drinks were quite good. We stuck to the more "American" dishes but the Irish food was tempting enough that we will be back.

Visited Garveys Irish bar during my stay in New York, overall experience was excellent, really friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Food was also delicious and affordable! Great location in the heart of Times Square with broadway shows right next door! Ideal for families, friends catching up or big events! Highly recommend this bar

I came here during the day for something to eat. The menu has a great affordable selection and the servers were friendly and attentive. The shepherds pie was incredible - tasted just like home! Overall an enjoyable experience.

A new place and a nice vibe. Nice decor and layout. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and service was super.
Good selection of draught as well as bottled beers.
The house burger 'n' chips was really excellent, and good value too.
We were there at a quiet time but would go back for a late beer or to watch a game any time!
