Pretty great tasting wontons here at Wonton Noodle Garden. I would say they are very close to ones you get from Hong Kong. Service was quick and meals were decently priced.

Good, authentic Cantonese food. Almost up to what one would get in Hong Kong. Wonton noodle soup was flavorful, although the stock could have been a tad richer. Lo mien seafood was excellent but the 'crab stick' was way too starchy and not fishy enough. Chinese customers ordering and eating what looked like good Cantonese food and Caucasian customers eating what looked like pretty decent kweilo good (steak and black bean, sweet and sour chicken etc). All in all pretty homey, comfy place for everyone. Could have had more then just Jasmine tea.

Excellent food for such a tiny restaurant. We were looking for a restaurant in the area and saw the sign for this restaurant. The idea of a restaurant advertising wonton tempted us to try it out.

The restaurant itself is fairly small with the kitchen making up the storefront window and the front corner of the restaurant. When we arrived, the restaurant was very full, mostly with Asians which is always a good sign, even in Chinatown.

We perused the extensive menu before deciding on pan fried dumplings, wonton and roast pork soup and pan fried noodles Singapore style. The soup arrived first, followed shortly by the pan fried dumplings. The dumplings were excellent - freshly fried, flavorful but not greasy or oily! The wonton in the soup were excellent as well. The wonton wrapper was thin and the filling was filled with pork and a whole shrimp. The pan fried Singapore noodles were also excellent - very flavorful and filled with ingredients (shrimp and roast pork). The portion sizes were very generous given the relatively low prices - so generous that we took home half of the Singapore noodles and had it for breakfast the next day.

Great place to eat. They have indoor and outdoor sitting. Staff got us in right away even thou it was very busy. Food was out quickly and nice and hot. Their prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality and great taste. I definitely will come back.

This was a great random find. The star of the show was the hoi nam chicken for me, it was so perfectly boiled w the seasoning and vegetables to complement it, the rice was perfectly cooked as well. We also had the roasted duck which was tender and flavorful, I couldn’t try the wontons because they were a mix of pork and shrimp but the other in my party said it was quite delicious. The squid was perfectly covered in garlic and ginger/ oyster sauce but it was much too chewy. 4/5 because though the food was mostly great, but it’s a bit disorganized when it comes to getting seated etc. we had to stand around in a random area waiting to be tended to. The service was good once we sat down.

Found randomly after walking around in China Town. One of the less restaurants accepting all types of credit cards (watch out several places around only accept cash or rarely Amex). Food was very good and really nothing to complain about. While ordering the waiter was also very helpful and explanatory for questions we had. The 4/5 is due to some people working there doesnt speak English very well and also the atmosphere isn't just a 5 star experience.

Dine in. The ambiance is nice. The AC is on blast. Which is perfect for me bc I've walked all around the area and was overheated. They had lots of menu options but I came only for the dumplings. Absolutely delicious.

Mei Lai Wah serves Chinese food in a simple and unassuming place. There was no seating available indoors so we sat outside on the street. It felt like the waitstaff did not pay much attention to guests seated outside, it took a long time for the waiter to take our order and bring us our bill. We had the wonton noodle soup, and lo mein with dumplings. I thought the portion size was perfect, and the prices were good too!

I had the beef stew with noodles and dumplings on the side. It was amazing! Although they are changing location, they where very nice and the food will not let you down! They also had a spicy sauce and I definitely recommend! It adds more depth of flavor to your dish and some spiciness!

Can I just say WOW! I came here almost 2 years ago and got the absolute best dim sum I have ever had in my life. Ever since then, for almost 2 years, I have been dreaming of returning. I have been dreaming of those fat noodles in peanut sauce every day. No other place has ever come even close to satisfying me as those fat noodles did. I came back with high expectations a few days ago and was blown away. My expectations were GREATLY exceeded. It was as if the place has only gotten better since that fateful day in 2021. I got my food, fat noodles, fried chicken, and veggie rolls, and could not contain my excitement. I scarfed down all 3 plates in under 15 minutes, savoring every bite while also dreading the end of my meal. I felt insatiable, as though for two years I have been working up to this one intrepid moment. Truly a holy experience and one to remember and retell for many days, and years to come. Cannot wait to come back whenever my next visit to New York may be.

The waiting was about 20 minutes on Saturday 2pm but it is worth waiting. Highly recommend their wontons noodles soup! Fishballs, beef tendon, and wontons were so good and the portions are big! I love the shrimps inside the wontons.
