Definitely a must go spot!!! Make your life easier by making sure you get reservations in advance. This place is popular! My friend and I were only able to get seating on the heated patio area outside! The music was on point (live DJ) the food was delicious and the crowd was amicable. I will visit again , next time I will make reservations!!!!

My boyfriend and I came here today. We were looking for nice steakhouses in the city and I came across this one on Maps. We looked at the online menu and decided this place seemed worth checking out. We got here a little earlier than the dinner start time at 5pm, so we killed time at the bar sipping some cocktails. The You Don't Know Jack and Naughty Girl were both respectfully good. When we were eventually seated, we had the shrimp cocktail and meatballs for appetizers. The 3 meatballs were juicy and tender, and the shrimps came with 3 jumbo ones, nice and refreshing. For entrees, he got the penne al la vodka with rigatoni pasta and I got the NY strip. Dessert? The lava cake and cheesecake. Everything was delicious. The service was splendid, friendly and professional. I can definitely see myself coming back here. If you're a lover of 80s 90s and early 2000s music, you'll love this place. 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

My sis have always wanted to come here but wasn’t able to get in because it was always booked, so make your reservations in advance. We called on a whim one Thursday evening and was able to get it. Service is top tier! Food portions are large. The servers took our orders right away and our glasses were constantly filled with water, I didn’t have to ask. They have a live DJ that was playing all the Jams. This place is a must! Whether it’s a date night or out with your friends, I highly recommend this place 10/10.

I love Ricardo’s! I have been coming here for about 20 years, they are always very consistent with the freshness and fabulous flavor. Service is always fast and attentive I love the fact that the kitchen is open and you can watch them cook your food.
There is a cute bar to the right when you walk in with specialty cocktails and they have outdoor seating and an outdoor waiting area that is covered. Also, the back area is super cute. They’ve added two more bathrooms also .
I love the selection of seafood and meats. They also have the best salads ever! Everything is so fresh my favorite also is the mashed potatoes with the Marsala gravy and the chicken Marsala is one of my favorite dishes here also. Loads of mushrooms!!!
They also have a raw bar which everyone knows how much I love oysters, and shrimp cocktail, which are always fresh here.
They have an excellent flan and cheesecake that are both in my opinion equally good.
The music is one of my favorite things about this place. It keeps everything upbeat. It’s a great place to celebrate, birthdays and it’s always a good mixy trendy crowd highly recommend it if you like large portions and fresh food.

Really enjoyed the experience at Ricardo's. Great food, service and atmosphere. The sea bass was amazing, the drinks were delicious, and the ambiance was refreshing. Definitely coming back to try more things on the menu. Oh and the price points were reasonable.

I went here for a holiday dinner w work friends. The outside is festive with lights and decorations. The inside was also very happy. The service was polite and consistent. They helped my coworker figure out a dish. The food was top notch. Big portions, tasty sauces and sides and meat was cooked to perfection. I got the filet mignon and had no issue finishing it off. It was super tasty. The drinks were also good đź‘Ť recommend it for sure. Oh I almost forgot they play good up beat music and if it's your bday there's sparklers,!!

The music selection was on point, mostly R&B and Hip Hop. Our waiter and busboy was excellent. They went above and beyond to make sure our experience was an excellent one. There were 5 of us and she took the time to share their special for the day and recommend her favorite dishes. She also provided prompt service. The wait for our drinks was not bad and they were delicious. Our appetizers were larger than we anticipated, by the time our entrees arrived we were already full. The bottle of champagne we ordered was delivered when we asked and chilled perfectly. Great for a group event.

Great atmosphere, great service, fun and vibrant atmosphere. But most of all the food is phenomenal. The favors are incredible. The presentation beautiful. And the amount of food you get is immense. If you are in NY for any reason do NOT pass up the opportunity to eat here. It would also be a fun place for drinks and small plates.

Really enjoyed this fun spot in Harlem! I had a burger which was very tasty and flavored well. My friend had the skirt steak which was phenomenal!! Nice, fun almost club-like atmosphere. The music was a little too loud but the DJ made fun choices. Wait staff and hostess were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely return!

First time here. It was exceptional. The food and service is excellent. My only reason for the 4 1/2 Star review is the bus boys hovering every 3 minutes to take your plate away. I want to enjoy my meal without feeling rushed. I will definitely come back to enjoy the rest of the menu. Norman, our waiter, was beyond exceptional. He was attentive and I learned some history about the business.

I went there at midnight. I ordered the poterhouse steak for one, 1 lb lobster tail and California red wine. The food was very delicious the chef cooked the steak exactly the way I want it. The restaurant has get atmosphere the music is little high but okay when the food is great. Will visit again when I am in the area.

We went there for a Birthday dinner, the waitress was so nice. There bread is amazing. I had salmon and that sauce it comes with was gold. I also had a lychee drink that was amazing. I’d go back for sure probably next month.

This was my first time dining here. The food was really, really good. Lamb was perfection. Service was attentive. Atmosphere/Vibe is very lively - a mix of great music (R&B/Hip-hop) and loud conversations. I was wondering if the restaurant turned into a club after hours. It's a Str8 Harlem vibe. Patrons were a mix of generations. The food was a bit pricey, but I loved it.

Ricardo's is always a good vibe. Really good food. Garlic bread is almost perfect and you're greeted with a complimentary plate of it. As a person who doesn't really like Salad, I absolutely love their Salad. Steak is also phenomenal. Not really too many bad things to say about this place

Ricardo  is not your typical “Manhattan steakhouse”, this East Harlem restaurant and popular birthday spot offers an unpretentious, vibrant and fun dining experience. Even the menu is fun, with dishes like the “O.P.P.” (Porterhouse steak for one), the “Tap that Bass” (Chilean sea bass) or the P-Y-T BONE steak. I heard the brunch scene is equally vibrant, if not more.

Amazing place and amazing food... Nice cocktails... By far the best value for money so far in NY... The environment is quite young and has everything to do with the spanish harlem... good and helpfull staff and a very good example of amazing dinning experience without paying 300 dollars... My only repair would be for the very loud music...

Yesterday (July 18th) was my 1st time here. Great afterwork spot. The female bartender made GREAT drinks, which was so needed after a stressful day at work. Had the shrimp Alfredo dish which was good. Service was excellent - don't remember the server's name, but he gave us complimentary Lemon Drop shots.<br/>We will be back!

Awesome Food, not the best steak. I ENJOYED Ricardo's Steak house everything I had that night was awesome except the steak, wasn't one of my favorites on the menu. The portions are great, ambiance warm and friendly. We waited a little bit because the place was jumping. Great people and they also have a reserved area in the back for private parties where you can get a view of the entire restaurant.

Horrible experience!!! Do not recommend . Host told us the wait would be 1 hour we waited 2 and a half hours waiting on a table to "finish paying" in the meantime another waitress approached us and offered us a table if we paid her off. All in all disgusting experience don't care how much people rave about the food there are plenty of other places in New york city were you can get good food and far better service.

I ABSOLUTELY fell in love with this place when celebrating a birthday dinner the first time we were here! Sure, it’s not for everyone as it’s loud, crazy packed, the music is pumpin’, and the regulars up here look like a stereotype of every 1970′s Huggy Bear pimp caricature or modern day rap video guy and gal. The men are crowding the bar up front sporting their best fur coats while checking out the fine ladies dressed to the nines in their best leopard wear and incredibly high heels and hair extensions. The music is loud with jammin’ tunes that went everywhere from 80′s freestyle, to smooth r&b, to Biggie and Tupac, then to current rap hits, and back to old school Sugar Hill Gang and KRS-One. You’ll notice I still gave these guys 5 star even though we had this mishap, and that is because they made up for it in so many ways. Allow me to explain. The staff handled our mishap as quickly and efficiently as they possibly could considering that it was a packed house on a very busy Saturday night. They provided us with plenty of free drink shots to pass the time as we waited for our tables. Here’s the thing, after a few drinks the wait seemed negligent.
