Excellent dinner. Very good service. Highly recommend the octopus carpaccio, scallops, sea bass, lamb chops and apple pie. Would definitely return
Been going for years and never disappoints. Crostini always a must. Salads are wonderful. Seasonal scallop were perfectly cooked. The warm, rosemary scented ambiance a wonderful setting for a lovely meal.
Small and more cozy compared to the other locations, which is a plus! Great vibes here. It’s a great place to catch up with a friend or a business dinner.
The Chilean sea bass is delicious. Tender and flavorful. The pot de creme is delicious! Get it. The staff is very attentive - water glasses constantly refilled and they check on how you’re doing without being intrusive.
I went here for dinner with my girlfriend and this place was absolutely superb!
We got three crostinis - the mushroom, the goat cheese, and the Gorgonzola. Every one of them was great. The bread was cut ur mouth hard like some bruschettas are and you could taste all of the flavors of each crostini. For dinner I got the hanger steak and my gf got the fig and olive tagine. Both were fantastic! The steak was on a bed of orange purée sauce called romesco which was awesome and the roasted potatoes and greens were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The tagine had an incredibly elaborate plating. The meat and the broth of the stew were delicious.
The ambiance was relaxed and not too stuffy and our service was great! Shout out to Hailey for being super nice and helping us pick the right things off the menu!
It certainly wasn't the cheapest place, but boy was it worth every penny! Honestly, one of the best dinners I've had in a long time! Five stars!
Tasty meal with attentive service and well paired wines. A nice and cozy location in the UES.
Quite lovely. Food was excellent. I had the French Omelette. Service was great. Ambiance magnificent!
Loved the place and vibes!
Awesome risotto, you can’t go wrong with this place.
When I reserved, I had intended to come here for a late Restaurant Week Lunch in February 2019. After I found out that their dinner menu starts before 3:40pm, I switched to a single entree.
Decor: It is nice, but not pretentious. An array of delicious smells tapped my nose the second I walked in. There's a bar just inside the door that stretched almost the length of the restaurant, though the second half (far side the bar) of it is in front of a searing table. It's a narrow restaurant, so the bar takes up one half of the restaurant, while the other is a single row of booth and wicker chairs. I sat at the bar. En lieu of paintings, I noticed that they had framed some olive branches to hang on the walls.
Service: Friendly. The host and the waitresses/waiters are was a brief wait when I first walked in, but it wasn't more than a minute.
Food: Fig and Olive gives each customer a plate containing a few bread with a tri-square plate containing olive oil and delicious balsamic vinegar to start. I ordered the cauliflower risotto, which was topped with fried sliced garlic and parsley. It was creamy and delicious.
I would come back, for sure!
Great atmosphere, nice waiters, great wine selection - but overpriced
Me and my sister went there to have a sister time and we absolutely loved everything, the food, the environment, the drinks. Servers are very nice and well mannered. We went on a Monday evening, it wasn't that crowded but pretty full. And because it's in the city, it was a bit pricey(of course) however overall we loved everything about the place!
