Incredible sandwiches await you at this charming Italian deli-style restaurant. Despite its small size, the establishment offers cozy indoor seating that exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the extensive menu boasts a multitude of excellent options, making it one of our preferred destinations for sandwiches.
During our visits, we have had the pleasure of trying various items, but one standout favorite is the renowned Le "vip" sandwich, which consistently garners popularity. I, on the other hand, have been more adventurous, venturing into their pasta dishes and savoring the flavors of their grilled chicken panini. Every dish is crafted using fresh ingredients, and although their pasta is delectable, it is the sandwiches that truly captivate us, beckoning us to return.
The bread, in particular, is exceptional—soft and perfectly fresh, seemingly baked in-house daily. The ambiance of the place is calm and relaxed, offering respite just a stone's throw away from MSG and Times Square. If you find yourself in the vicinity and craving Italian sandwiches that are satisfying without feeling overly heavy, do yourself a favor and give them a try!

The vibe here was great. It's a cute little restaurant just a few minutes from Times Square.
The sandwiches are amazing and made with very fresh bread, and the lasagna I got was delicious. Both at very nice prices too! Daily specials that make eating there very affordable and better tasting than most other quick Italian places nearby.

so yummy! Our sandwiches tasted so fresh, very cute little spot. The truffle fries were perfect as a side and the rainbow cake was delicious. Absolutely recommend stopping in here for something tasty, filling, not overly heavy.

Hidden little gem. Looks like an old Italian meat shop except… this one serves superb dishes. I stumbled upon this by google myself “food near me”. I had the chicken Parm with vodka sauce
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Would love to find myself there again. A def recommend!!

The paninis are great. I walked in there somewhat randomly and was very pleasantly surprised!

Omg!! I love this place. I just popped in for lunch today as we got take out quickly and met the owner - Massimo. He was so kind to tell us about his wonderful store, he’s been there for about 15 years and has done a lot to make sure he did not close thru the pandemic. And man… I’m so glad he didn’t!!!
Everything is so beautiful and handmade… and omg… DELICIOUS!! We will definitely be back here in a regular basis when in town. I’m so glad we stopped in today. He has handwritten his menu on the walls and handmade the bread and cannolis… and they were OUT OF THIS WORLD.
A must stop in for a reasonably priced and very delicious treat. DEFINITELY GET THR CANOLLI….

Great place to enjoy a really, really great sandwich. Has a mom and pop old school vibe. Although limited in table space, I have yet to find someone who did not share theirs and were open to conversation over a meal. I highly recommend!

What an amazing little restaurant. The Panini's we ordered were sensational, so fresh and tasty, you can tell these people love good food. I had Umbria panini, The bread was perfectly crusty & light & the Panini was warm. Our sandwiches weren’t squished in a hot press toaster and they were the better for it. Tastes and feel like an authentic panini. It’s reasonably priced and their other pasta dishes looked lovely too. Wish we lived closer we’d order from here everyday.

I've been there twice , 3 years appart. The food is just great. Fresh and delicious . It has nothing to do with any other sandwich places I know.
I strongly recommand!

Great sandwiches with a hometown neighborhood feel. Fast service. Delicious sandwiches and great calamari... And I don't really like calamari! There are a few tables that are nice and cozy. Definitely stop by!

High quality ingredients make for a tasty Italian sandwich. The prosciutto was excellent, but the overall combination didn't quite hit the spot. Definitely worth giving another try, though.

Great spot for a light lunch.
Just a quick walk from Penn, this Italian sandwich shop is a must try. I had the IL VIP (number 1) and was very satisfied.
The sliced prosciutto di Parma, mozzarella, and fresh bread were a great combo but were only made better with the crown jewel of the sandwiche... fig spread! The contrast between the salty of the prosciutto and the sweetness of the fig spread was strong and made the sandwhich have real flavor.
With so much on the menu, and such quality ingredients; I know ill be back soon. Thanks for the great food!

Got to the hotel and checked out for what was the closest Italian joint. Not expecting anything except for great food we went here for a late dinner. Typical hole in the wall. But awseome food and bottle of wine. I am sure partly just the fact it was our first meal in NYC on this trip....but seriously the pasta was awesome. The paninis were awesome. Would be a regular place to go if I lived here.

I had the most delicious sandwich here. The Panini of the Day was chicken with vodka sauce and prosciutto. I hope this restaurant puts this sandwich on the regular menu. I will hope to stop by this place again soon and experience this shop’s amazing food. The prices are very reasonable and the seating area is small but inviting.

i ordered the godfather which comes with three deli meats: sopressata, prosciutto, cappiocolla. the meat was of a very high quality. the flavors were perfectly balanced with the fresh mozzarella, bell peppers, and mixed greens. all of their ingredients are fresh. the only qualm i had was that bread was a little bit stiff/hard to bite through (but i’m no sandwich expert so maybe that’s how it should be?).

All was good, friendly service. The veggie lasagna was tasty, and the panino was filling.

Hands down an absolutely delicious sandwich. Definitely coming here again. Generous proportions, and tastes like high quality ingredients.

The salami, mozzarella and artichoke sandwich was amazing! It was such a good lunch that I took the family back for dinner. The Baked Ziti is huge! The staff is very friendly. Great place for a snack or a meal!

Found this place on a business trip and now I make it a must whenever I'm in town. Quality is the best, I can't get an Italian sub at my local pizza/sub shop anymore.

Great Italian place for lunch.

Best lunch in the neighborhood and maybe the best caponata I've had in NY!

Be here. Small but beautifully formed. Great food, lovely staff.

Ever since I can remember, I have always said my mom cooks the best and as a Puerto Rican you know why. But after tasting the lasagna, I am in awe. Totally awakened my taste buds. Thanks

Great food! Great atmosphere! Great friends to share it with! Glad we found this gem around the corner from our hotel and will definitely stop by again next time we are in NY! Can you ship some to Georgia??
Brian McCrae
The sandwiches are amazing! The fresh made mozzarella puts them over the top. You know it is a great cannoli when they dont have to cover it up with sauces, whip cream and a bunch of other extras. The filling speaks for itself! Super friendly staff to boot, you can tell these guys have a passion for what they do.

Great panini and my husband said their lasgna was the best he's had in a long time.

Excelente comida, sabor exquisito. Variedad. Comida un poco fría. Volvería en una próxima ocasión.

Still thinking about that veal parm sandwich I had last week. It was a sublime experience.

The VIP is worth traveling from all reaches of the 5 boroughs. Fresh mozzarella and great atmosphere.
