Review Nai Tapas Bar - New York City

Had my rehearsal dinner at Nai and we all had a wonderful time! They have private space for us (party of 20), it was spacious and perfect for the occasion. Food was delicious (Paella and the scallops were my favorite) and the servers were attentive, kept our sangria glasses full the whole night🍷 Nai was the perfect choice for my party 🥳

Came here with a big party of 14 and was served very well, in addition to the food being excellent. The portions of the tapas were decently large and this is one of the rare restaurants where you can order 1 of everything on the menu and everything is actually really good. Very impressed! We even got free dessert on the house.

What can I say’’ The best tapas restaurant in NYC ! Excellent Service . We don’t make reservation we just walk in and I was really surprised How good the food was , we order 6 tapas and it was great amount for me and my friend, we ordered a bottle of red wine that made me love Spanish Wines , I was very impressed that they have a great wine list that absolutely we will be back to try, For dessert we ordered the brûlée is very refreshing. I can’t wait to go back and try different tapas and different wine. Highly Recommended 5+

Overall dishes were all great. Need to order 2-3 tapas per person to fill up your stomach at least. Some dishes come in 2 pieces, so ask the staff when you order if you are with a party with 2+ people.

I think it used to be better at the other location from years ago... they had live flamingo dances on the second floor, decorations and vibes that felt more homey. This location felt a lot more bougie and clean, but I miss the homey vibe from before. Food is still amazingly though!! My favorites are the paella (one of the best I've ever had), the unique cocktail flavors, and their desserts. 4 star because it became so expensive and my wallet is crying.

I barely rate places full stars. But Nai is the one who made my mind for it. Start with the walk in experience, it’s low key with simple and clean interior design. Nothing more or less, right on. Food: The beef tartare with the crunchy sliced chips on it is outrageous. The sea bass croquettes roll tastes crunchy and savory. The calamari is one of a kind, just as tender as egg white. Not exaggerated! The pasta paella with beautiful topping sauce on it, mixed up together, have a nice bite. Overall, it gave us a beautiful food journey! I’d love to take my loved one to have this incredible experience w/ me. Thank you for bringing us so many good dishes.

Cute restaurant and great food! Definitely on the pricier side and does get pretty busy for dinner, so make sure to get a reservation. Staff was great and attentive throughout the night. We were a group of 3 and we ordered: - Portobello Carpaccio - Brussel sprouts - Gambas (one of our favorites of the night) - Octopus (good but wish this was seared a bit more, texture was a bit slimy) - Chorizo (delicious! I liked the bread it came with too) - Croquette (another favorite of mine) - Oysters (very different and tasty, highly recommend) - Churrasco (cooked well but could probably skip) - Yuzu creme brulee for dessert (could also skip on this) We enjoyed all the dishes and were stuffed by the end. After 4 glasses of wine, the total with tip came out to around $320.

Great place with a private area downstairs. Perfect for private events. Can easily seat 20+ people. Food is good and comes out in courses. We had a great time and enjoyed the time here. The staff was quick on refills and kept an eye on everything.

Such a fantastic experience — both the food and the service was so above and beyond and so impressive. I came here for a girls’ night with my two friends and we don’t get to do this much, so we were really looking forward to it. Carlos was our server and he was literally the best server I’ve ever had at any restaurant — he knew the menu inside and out, he knew exactly which drink to pair with which dish, and he never let our glasses go empty. He made extremely well thought-out suggestions for each course and was always professional and never ever pushy. Everything he suggested we loved, and every wine paired beautifully with each dish. Carlos made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant (when we weren’t — the place was full and I’m pretty sure there was a private party happening in the back). I could tell he genuinely cared and he elevated our experience even beyond what I’d hoped for. The food was truly amazing — I’d never had octopus before, but we absolutely loved it. The paella was my favorite along with the ham croquet and the ribeye Katsu. We had so many dishes and loved all of them. Thank you to Carlos and the chef and staff for an incredible and unmatched dining experience. You’ll be seeing us again!

This place is amazing, much love and respect for Raul manager, there’s was a problem with my reservation and Raul came and save the night. That night was my birthday and he made me feel welcome and loved. The flamenco show 5 star, the food 5 star and Raul. 100 stars. Thank you will recommend

The explosion of flavors it’s something unique and delicious. Each dish has a signature taste that makes your mouth not just water but go into a culinary trip. We order a little bit of everything: pulpo, sea bass, pimentón, ribs, gambas, accompanied by wine or sangria according to each dish.

There’s flavorful Spanish tapas that serve as perfect bites to accompany your wine. The katsu sandos were pretty big in portion and the spicy aioli gave it even more flavor. And Spanish dish with japanese twist- lots of seafood and tobiko! The skirt steak was a delish shareable plate, and the shrimp gambas and potato bravas were the perfect small snacks.

Had an amazing time at @naitapas the other weekend trying out their very interesting Japanese fusion cuisine. Everything was absolutely amazing and really reminded us both of the “western food” you would get in Japan🥹Pasta paella was really special and the tobiko added such good texture to the dish. Katsu sando was also great (but ofc much more expensive than other places so it’s not fair to compare). Carpaccio also blew me away because the mushroom was so soft but chewy it almost didn’t taste like mushrooms! Went so well with the cheese and nuts! Dessert menu was a good closure and we were both surprisingly full afterwards even though all the tapas were not that big. I’d be super down to try their other restaurants!
