Uva is charming and a lovely place. There is a small outdoor courtyard, which added to the charm of the interior. The service was amazing and Angel, our server, was perfect could not have been more warm and attentive. The food that we choose was delicious. The Burrata first course was so refreshing and was perfectly complimented by the bresaola. We had the pappardelle and the short ribs, and shared the dishes. They go great together, and are fabulous individually. Can’t wait to try more recommendations from Angel!

Great neighborhood find! Lovely wine flights, great cheese platter, beet gnocchi, and fettuccine! Hot spot for sure🍷

Alisa was fantastic as our server! She paid close attention to detail and even made sure I received a new menu since the original one she was about to hand me was dirty. The staff were fantastic and made sure I never had empty water. Food was great. Im a stickler for being kind and it was sad to see management be rude to staff. The hostess at the front didn’t deserve particular comments made by the manager. This is the reason for a 4/5.

The truffle gnocchi is to die for! We liked it so much we ordered another plate of it, and it arrived fresh and hot, like biting into a warm cloud. I’d come again and again just for if. The pesto pasta is also great, tastes very freshly made. Came as a close 2nd to the gnocchi. The burrata appetizer is also good and beautifully plated. Only downside is that it does get very noisy when packed and the tables are very close to eachother, making noise unavoidable. However, the great food makes up for it. Definitely one of the best spots in NYC.

It’s good that it open late night, so we stopped buy around 11pm. The waitress was friendly at first but after we placed the order, we never saw her again. We were sitting with empty glasses and busboy came to ask us for last call and tell us the kitchen is closing if we want something more. He was amazing really! Food was good. I don’t like pesto, but felt like having it that night and didn’t regret. Also the polenta with truffle and ricotta was the best I ever had

The ambiance is very nice. The staff are nice and friendly. The service is extremely quick and very efficient. I'd dare to say almost too quick. We ordered the burrata, the pizza foccacia and the gnocchi. The burrate was ok, not really super creamy but it was just ok. The foccacia was delicious and the gnocchi was outstanding. I'd for sure go back. I highly recommend!

Food 8/10 Solid traditional pasta, a very local spot on the UES. The gnocchi was fluffy and chewy at the same time, super filling I couldn’t finish it. Calamari turns out wasn’t fried, but came in a salad, which was really good too. Atmosphere 8/10 Definitely a place you come for an authentic Italian experience, loud yet elegant, a lot is going on but it’s organized and makes sense. Service 8/10 Good recommendations.

Made a reservation for 13 people for a family gathering, without asking, they gave us a private section which was much appreciated! Food was excellent, highly recommend their meatballs and calamari. Our sever was very attentive, patient and genuinely cared. She went out of her way to make sure we all had everything we needed at all times. Ambience is very nice. Recommend and I will return!

GNOCCHI DI RICOTTA = foodgasm. I’ve been coming here for 10 years and it never disappoints. There was a time it was different, but now since they have the outdoor area, it’s never more than a 20 min wait. So many areas to sit between indoor, bar, downstairs, back patio and outdoor, all great. I’ve loved everything I’ve gotten. Feels very homey. Favs are gnocchi of course, mezzaluna ravioli with prosciutto and mushrooms, all bruschettes, calamari (not fried, but deliciously grilled) and the artichoke salad. I’ve brought all my visitors here. Still the best Italian I’ve found in the city.

@uvanyc was so lovely. the fava bean 🫘 salad 🥗 + ceaser salad were delicious appetizing. fava bean was better in fact this dish inspired me to eat more fava beans 😘 the roasted tomato 🍅 soup was cream based, which i normally don’t like bc of my lactose intolerance that i ignore. this was lovely. both the gnocchi and pesto pasta were very good and very well made. that being said, i would not order the gnocchi again. i’m not a cream sauce girl so my tummy hurt after eating this 😩🥺 #notcute also, you guys know idc for fancy desserts but this was absolutely wonderful - the perfect way to end the meal. • • overall, uva IS a must try ! fava bean salad, specialty soup, and the almond cake are officially branded as a NYC must have. the Caesar salad was good but i would order another when i return. i would order different pasta 🍝 dishes. something a little more refreshing that pairs well w the rest of the courses. BUT if you like cream sauces, GET THE gnocchi!!!! ALSO vibes were immaculate, this place was gorgeous

Great little place to stop and have a drink and an amazing charcuterie board! Our waiter was awesome! It was nice to speak Italian with him. Our espresso martinis were amazing! We sat in a cozy section by the bar. I felt like I was in Italy! Our charcuterie boars was filled with delicious treats. My favorite was the cheese and pickled onions (yup pickled onions). Looking forward to going back and ordering a whole meal!!!
