Review Cupping Room Cafe - New York City

Great vibe. They are so welcoming to everyone- groups and people with kids. Really relaxed and they came to check up on us quite often. The menu has quite a few choices but not too many as to be confusing. The wait time was not long at all very reasonable

Where do I start! The staff was really friendly and attentive. They seated us quickly and always check on our table to make sure we had everything we needed. As for the food....DELICIOUS. Everything came out very nice and was good perfectly..

Such a wonderful first morning in NYC. Our waiter was absolutely wonderful, even when we needed to move tables due to a larger party. The Nova is to die for, and I’m a huge salmon snob. Fresh squeezed mimosas and a lovely venue. Drinks are a bit spendy, but fairly priced all things considered. Would certainly come back if I was in town again.

Randomly stopped by this place yesterday, as I was taking a day to myself to stroll through Manhattan, and this lovely place was on my route towards Central Park. Caught my eyes as I came upon it, with it's cut entrance, mid 1900's feel and look to it, as you will feel like you've walked back in time for a bit, and you like it. I ordered the red eye coffee, poached eggs, with a salad and a side of bacon. And it was sooooooo good 👌🏾🤤 especially the poached eggs, and the sweet savory bacon. I had to hold off and not finish the coffee too quickly, as I usually take my time drinking coffee, but the red eye had me sippin' every five seconds...haha...slow down and enjoy it😁 I even took pictures of one of the bathrooms, I know...weird...but I had to, as they have three bathrooms, and their all stocked up on toilet paper, hand soap and air freshener. A lot of businesses could take a page out the Cupping Room Cafe's book on that for sure. A warm and welcoming staff, that was checking on me, and the other customers, often to make sure we were all doing good, made me feel like I wanted to grab those guys a chair and tell them to have a meal with me...felt like home away from home. Highly recommended and five stars for sure 🤩👋🏽🙋🏾‍♂️👌🏾

Excellent brunch/lunch spot with a decorative dining space. The menu has a great selection of popular and creativity meals as well as a bevy of drinks to choose from. Highly recommended. Hope this helps!

The most amazing food!! Worth. Every. Penny. Eggs Benedict will not disappoint and the bacon was out of this world delicious. The atmosphere was everything we wanted from our Soho experience. The service was great, coffee, mimosas... 5+ stars. Best breakfast in NYC.

Great place with a relaxed atmosphere and good background music. We bought a drink and a beer during their happy hour and got free hot wings. The waiter was polite and gave us a good service. I definitely recommend this place and intend to visit here again next time I have the chance.

The food and drinks were good. The atmosphere was nice too. Not the best place we've been in New York but also not the worst.

Stuffed French Toast was amazing. 2 seats near the fireplace was cozy on a cold winter Sunday. Great value for excellent quality.

Cupping Room Café is a solid 4-star brunch place with warm ambience and attentive staff. It has two entrances and thus flies come in easily.

Loved this place, very quaint inside. We stayed for breakfast / brunch. The food was fantastic quality and reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend this place and would come back on an evening, when they have live singers

Best place to eat. They have a perfect selection of food, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also there is a nice bar lounge to drink and watch games if necessary.

I went for breakfast on Saturday, I was on my own as I was meeting my son later that day. I’m from the UK so had goggled best places to eat in Soho, and this was one of the top recommendations. Initial impressions were good, then I realised at least 4 tables had arrived after me, yet they had placed their orders and were drinking coffee. I caught the eye of a waiter who redeemed the situation. I wasn’t at one of his tables but he took my order and got me a coffee. I had the eggs benedict, with Canadian bacon and home style fries. The food was ok nothing exceptional. As I was only a flying visit to NYC I didn’t get to go back, but if I had been there longer I doubt I would have gone again

Great food and service. The bar looked excellent too, but we had to drive home from NYC, so we weren't able to partake. They had live entertainment as well. The music portion of which was very nice, but they also had spoken poetry portions that would've been better down the street at a dim coffee house or something. Some of the poetry was a bit risqué and a little embarrassing to have to experience with our young, visiting niece. One piece in particular was totally inappropriate for hearing during a meal, and afterwards, the manager came over and apologized profusely. Seems that the artist didn't let anyone know that she was going to go off the rails that night so, surprise! But we laughed it off as a rare and quintessential Seinfeldesque New York moment. All the staff was very nice and the food was great so you really should check this place out. With the wonderful food, full bar, and live entertainment, you'll be in for a yummy, pleasant, and possibly surprising, experience.

Overall not a bad experience, but a few things really stood out: 1. The food was alright, maybe slightly better than average, but the prices were very high ($18 for a fried chicken sandwich with fries) 2. The server was friendly, but everything took a while to come out. 3. The restaurant was decorated with quirky art, but felt cold and unfinished. Overall not terrible, but probably not worth going out of your way to visit.

Had a late lunch here on Sunday afternoon. What a beautiful little restaurant. Nice ambiance, and good food. My aunt had stuffed French toast which was over-filled (in a good way) with cream cheese, nuts and granola. She said it was so good it didn't even need syrup. I had eggs, bacon and a waffle. Yum! Tea was loose-leaf, in nice little glass pots, so you got several cups of tea from it. Would frequent this place all the time if it was in my neighborhood.

We were recommended this place by the Nomo hotel concierge and she didn't let us down. Great bar and restaurant the food is fantastic and they serve Brooklyn lager. The staff are very friendly and if you are in the Soho area this place is a great find.

Had lunch a few times. Very nice, light, and fresh meals. Each time we went was at the end of the lunch rush period, thinking to receive remarkable service. To our surprise, Service was less than satisfactory and was at times, very negligent. I would recommend based on the atmosphere and the menu. Just not recommending the "end of Lunch Rush" time frame.

This place is beautiful, and the staff are the friendliest people you could meet. Received lots of greats tips from them for our visit to NY. Was privileged to be there for a staff member's 50th--loved their camaraderie. And the drinks were great too.

My favorite place for brunch!! Will recommend it for a date or girl's day out.

Don't miss the great belly dancing and excellent live Middle Eastern music when they have it!

Great, intimate space for events! Good apps & wine. Wait service lacking because waiter was covering our 24 person event and other tables. They should have had a dedicated waitstaff to handle just the event. We ended up ordering less when we wanted more!
Bob Coscolluela
Quaint place...... we like it a lot. Did not do reservations thinking it was early we would eventually get a table and we did. Thanks!
