Ok, I’ll be the first to admit it but when I see a bar/pub described as Irish I’d tend to pass it by but this place was a real find!
I had a pint here yesterday as it was directly opposite our hotel and then when we were searching for somewhere to eat we ended up back here and had probably the best burgers ever!
And now we’re back here again, this time just another pint before we hit the madness of Times Square, and lovely pint (16oz?) Vanilla Porter.
We’re here until Tuesday and no doubt we’ll be back at least another couple of times before we head home.
Arrived into town late (11pm) and took a seat at the bar. Greeted with kind conversation and a nice tall German draft. Didn't feel hungry, then the bartender handed me a menu. The smokehouse burger caught my eye and even though it was late, that's what I decided to order. That burger was excellent! The bacon and BBQ sauce on a thick juicy burger hit the spot! The fries were great too. By this time, there was a co-ed bartending team and they were very friendly and attentive. The food was also reasonably priced. Bottom line, I had a great late-night experience and I hope you do too!
Great place to have beer post work ! The pizza was nice and the staff was super helpful.
One if the good places on 36th street. Will surely be back once again !
Excellent food ... Had the swordfish and it was delicious, the sauce on the top made my tastebuds dance.
The service was good and the atmosphere very friendly
Super friendly staff, great selection of beers, plenty of screens and delicious cocktails, the perfect local!
Once we got off the train and headed to our hotel we were starving. Doing a little walk around the block we decided to go to the Keg room for lunch. Atmosphere was a perfect Irish Pub. The staff was super friendly and the food was great. The Shepard pie was bomb and the girls loved trying their first plate of Fish and Chips. If we are ever in NYC for Saint Patrick’s Day, I would love to come to The Keg room to celebrate.
Service is pretty good. Atmosphere is lively on a Saturday night in the bar. The restaurant area is nicely organised and less noisy so great for a bite to eat and a wee drink. Loads of TV screens so even if your on your own or waiting for friends it seems a friendly place to hang for a while.
We found this sports bar to quench our thirst. It was the middle of the afternoon on a Monday, so it was not busy. They have many tv screens around the restaurant to view sporting events. I can imagine this bar hopping during any sporting event. They had many beers on tap and large assortment of coolers, wine, and such.
We enjoyed a few appetizers with our drinks. The food and drinks were at a very reasonable price.
Our bartender was friendly, fun bantering, a really nice guy.
We'll remember to come back to this bar again the next time we're in NY city.
Who doesn't like an Irish themed bar? Well, this guy does! A ton of craft beers on tap. We stopped for a snack and a night cap(s). Busy enough but you could have conversation with drinks. We had a quesadilla and a handful of drinks. All good, made with love.
I recently visited this bar and I have to say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the atmosphere and decor. The lighting was perfect, the music was just the right volume, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive.
But what really set this bar apart was the quality of the drinks. They had an impressive selection of craft cocktails and beers, and everything I tried was delicious. The bartenders were clearly very skilled and passionate about what they do, and it showed in the quality of the drinks they served.
Overall, I would highly recommend this bar to anyone looking for a great night out. Whether you're looking for a quiet drink with friends or a lively night on the town, this place has something for everyone. I can't wait to go back!
This bar/restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel staff when we needed a late meal as somewhere they went close by. Plenty of beer choices. Typical bar food offerings with a few entrees thrown in, but it was all good. My husband was hungry. Me, not so much. We both found something on the menu to satisfy us. We both would go back. Our waitperson was probably new because they had to check on several menu questions, but they were friendly and very helpful. Like most bars in NY, the kitchen closes before the bar does, so check hours first if you are looking for food.
The food and beer selection is amazing been here on two of my NYC visits this year and I will return
Fantastic bar/restaurant for meeting friends for dinner and drinks. It's also a great place to watch a game. There must be over 30 televisions all around the restaurant and bar. I love this place. The staff is as friendly and helpful as you will find.
Lost in Midtown as usual, we wanted to grab a quick bite and we found The Keg Room. I mean wooooow all of those TVs!! It is hands down the ultimate place to watch any sporting event. We ordered the buffalo pizza, the calamare and a cake lol can’t tell you…. this place looks amazing cannot even think about the madness that this place is gonna be for St Pattys day. Food was good, the service was fantastic and the place is awesome!!
Looking for a place airing a midweek Premier League match and ended up here. Really nice bar with friendly staff. Enjoyed the chicken tenders and Truly, while the match—with sound—played. Nice spot 🍻
