Pretty cozy & nice speakeasy. Has a coat check as you enter. The place is more for drinks than food I would say. Food is pretty decent not many options but whatever is in the menu, is good. I really liked the shrimp toast. The cocktails are good too. Good music & ambiance. Definitely make a reservation if u want to sit down & eat.

One of the best speakeasies I have been in the city. Friday night… Great music, great vibe, drinks were amazing but the grass island was the best. our waitress was great, super friendly and knowledgeable of the drinks. We def wanna come back.

A gem of a place. Really cosy and intimate. Our server was pretty miserable so they lose a star but everyone else was great. They kept your water topped up every couple of minutes too. Overall an excellent place with good service. Food is limited but very nice. The fries were awesome.

A hidden speakeasy with a fun 1920s prohibition theme, complete with brass bathtub. No sign out from for the bar (only one for the 'front business" (Stone Street Coffee Company) as they were back during prohibition. The first room you enter is the "coffee company," with no discernable door into the club until the doorman or hostess pulls on a piece of wall trim, revealing the entrance. Inside is decorated with period wallpaper, furniture, bar ware, photos, and more. Would recommend reserving a table if you're going during busy hours. Burlesque shows take place on certain days and hours (check their social media). Be sure and sit in the copper bathtub for a photo!

Make a reservation!! Not necessary but it'll save you waiting in line. The cocktail menu is extensive and the drinks were delicious. Intimate seating arrangements and areas for small groups. It's fairly loud so bring your outdoor voice.

We all had the s’mores old fashioned and though it was decent, the drink was too sweet for us who prefer a more traditional old fashioned. The service was very friendly and he was very patient explaining the drinks. It is a cute date spot as well with some mood lighting but it can also probably be very loud depending on the time. They also have food which we didnt order but it looked good from seeing other tables

Let me take you on a journey: we came to celebrate a milestone birthday and had the BEST time at Bathtub Gin. The service was prompt, they took such good care of us! And the drinks were exactly what we hoped: strong and well made. But the **highlight** of our experience??? Our server, Charity, took exceptional care of us. And? We were awestruck by her rubber duck earrings. I’d honestly come back because of her dedication to customer service AND bathtub puns. Please. Management. Make the rubber duck earrings part of the dress code. They go with the name of the bar: it JUST MAKES SENSE. Also! Bottom line: the best low key bar in the west village with great drinks and even better service

Astrid the bartender was awesome. So nice. Let me taste cocktails she was testing out. The staff I met were nice and convivial. One of the better speakeasies. Lighting and atmosphere is great. Could be a touch darker in the seats opposite the bar, but overall a stellar place.

Awesome bar to enjoy a drink, after a long day in NYC. Great atmosphere, awesome collection of Gins if that's your poison! Try out !! Keep in mind you maybe have to wait to get in, as it could get a little crowdy, but it totally worths it !
