This place is great! Came here for dinner with a large group and the service was great. Obv, can't beat the location on a summer / early fall evening looking out into the East River with a view of the bridges - to die for! The food was pretty good. There were some very good dishes (fluke tartare, mango pina colada, bread with ricotta sauce) but the others weren't anything to write home about. However, the vibes alone are worth this place at least once!

Beautiful waterside restaurant in Seaport, the view of the boats and the music from the concert venue upstairs gave it a truly unique vibe. The corn ribs were a must have, they're so light and the sauce was the perfect amount of tart that keeps you wanting more. My only regret was not coming hungry.

Amazing spot but a couple things can make it a bit awkward. Still 5 stars though. First, the ordering is a bit confusing because the dishes are designed to be shared, so it’s tough to get a feel for how much to truly order. Trust your server to help you here on the quantity. Second, I guess ordering the famous duck needs to be done online ahead of time. I understand but wish there was another way.

Visited in Aug 2023 Really great outlet/branch of Momofuku. Went with a couple of friends whose verdict was that this place is better than the Noodle Bar outlet. When you reserve or walk in, do note that the menu of “downstairs” and “upstairs” is different (~50-60% different). We chose to be downstairs where it is an a-la-carte menu. If you choose to dine upstairs, there is a choice between a-la-carte (different from downstairs) and set menu. Among the dishes we ordered, all were quite good and there were no dishes we felt which were below par. Would definitely recommend folks to try out the pork belly buns, whole roasted branzino, crispy potatoes, and the hamachi. Also ordered a few cocktails which were pretty decent too. A definite recommendation for visitors and residents of NY

We always get top-notch service from the Momofuku team. Not only very professional and but very friendly and cool, too. Quality of the food is superb. Raw dishes and oysters are very fresh. There are many options for vegetables as well as meat dishes. Grilled Maitake mushrooms are so tasty, and short ribs are a must. Heritage pork chop is delicious, too. Great wine and beverages list, at every price point and for every palate.

Probably the best dining experience I’ve ever had. The Ssam Set was great. The bread and spicy butter really set the tone for the flavors and quality of food to come. The Beginning course was a little on the spicier side, but the flavors were worth it. The Middle was full of amazing textures and savory flavors. The Dessert sorbet was light and fluffy. We tried both but of the Skin by the glass wines, my favorite was Pittnauer (for being light, tropical, and just a good wine). Thank you Ssam Bar! You were amazing!

We really enjoyed the seaport incarnation of Ssam bar. Very interesting and tasty menu, plus a lovely outdoor patio.

Nice view + great flavours (which were yummy but non authentic) but the food was a bit salty. Cocktails are strong and p decent!

Had a wonderful dining experience here, special thanks to the staff. The ssam set was a good amount of food and frankly it ended up being too much for us after adding the potato wedges. The cocktails were really well prepared and rather strong. Would definitely come back, especially to sit by the water when the weather is nice.

Unique selection of Japanese entrees by celebrity chef David Chang. They have a couple locations, and the new one was located down by the water. Their menu changes on a seasonal basis. If you like water/city views, chef inspired eats, and tasty cocktails, fine wines, and local beer, go here. Pictured below is a strawberry sorbet we shared for dessert. Was delicious.
